And this was exactly what I mentioned earlier. To participate in this, I first have to go and participate for hours in another mode, just to get the gear neccesary to participate. Meanwhile, a PVP player can engage in all PVE content, without needing to go out and do a bunch of dungeons, delves or raids first.
You can also just buy the AH pvp gear and circumvent a lot of the grind needed to be decently effective.
And if you’re a pvper you do need to do “the grind” in pve if you want to do higher than a +8 delve.
No weekly quests requires doing a Tier 8+ delve though. There is none of the Weekly PVE quests, that can’t be done in Honor gear. But the Weekly PVP Quest can’t be done in PVE gear at all.
Which weeklies are we referring to as being pve here exactly?
I think you’d need at least a bit of work put into your gear if you, say, hope to do a “complete 4 M+ instances” weekly.
There are no Weekly Quest that requires you do Mythic+, there is one that requires you do 4 Mythic Dungeons, which can easily be done as item level 580, which is the item level of fully upgraded Honor gear.
The amount of valorstones you get from pve is much greater so you’ll still p much need to do some pve. Fair point on the quest being doable on m0.
It’s overall still kind of a weird sticking point when the event overall greatly favors pve and a pure pvper would not be able to get much bronze at all
You don’t HAVE to participate, that’s what I’m saying. You can get all the rewards from the event without ever doing any pvp, 10 tokens aren’t gonna make any difference, yet you decided to go there and torture people because you’re selfish.
If you were genuiely concerned about bothering other people you wouldn’t have done it to begin with, thus you’re being a hypocrite.
