Could be bugged, according to WoWhead comments other players also see 5 drops as well.
WoWhead drop chances are also through player submissions and are not true Blizzard drop chances.

Thing is, that entry also counts kills by people who aren’t warlocks, and i’m not sure how long the listed count for number of kills has been going, if it started when the mob was added (Back in 7.3, in “Legion”), no wonder the listed droprate for the grimoire (Which has only just been added) seems so low.
