Appropriate names

Hello! As I’m quite new to both shadowlands and this realm, I had some questions after being on this forum looking for a guild and seeing some comments about appropriate names, since it is an RP-realm.
I got curious since i basically chose an adjective from my native language as a name, how does this sit with RP-stuff? I’m not really on to activly seeing out RP but does not back down if the situation presents itself.
Not sure if this is a hot topic, just want to know!

The name in questions is: Disponabel

Thanks,
A new retail beginner.

Available? I’m curious.

But anyway, words-words normally work unless they’re slurs/insults of course, so you should be in the clear!

Most people use the addon ‘Total Roleplay 3’ which changes their display name when mouse-over’d. I wouldn’t worry about it not being your character’s exact name, but as long as it’s not offensive - as the above poster said - or even simply a name meant to antagonize, troll, etc. your name doesn’t matter too much. Hope this helps!

While there are technically rules against using character names that aren’t actually names on RP realms, AD is an old, high-pop server, all the “good” names are taken by now, and nobody’s going to bat an eye if you’d rather name your character a word that describes them than Jóñǎthæn. As long as you’re not named something like Xxleethaxorxx I don’t think anybody’s going to have a problem.

I won’t pretend that the adjective-name craze doesn’t bother me, but it’s a small matter with TRP profiles usually replacing it with something more appropriate.
