What does anizahs achievement point has to do with anything?
All anizah wants is to look better in the game so the roleplaying experience is better?
I don’t expect you to understand you paid to buy the ugliest mog i’ve ever seen in this game from the cashshop so you probably don’t have a taste anyways.
I’m a persian myself and i wanted prince of persia/samurai and nier automata transmogs in this game for years, nothing wrong with people wanting to look better.
I’ve never cared for achievements in my life and the only reason I got these 4K Achievements is through random leveling, normal dungeons, and noble garden.
I don’t even care for these 4K. It was random.
I play the game the way I feel like it. And the only reason I made this thread is because it relates to Roleplay, which is my main form of gaming.
Shaming someone for their achievements just because you don’t agree with their topic has been a tale as old as time. You aren’t the first Person to do it, and won’t be the last I can imagine.
Can’t you already change the skin color of your human character to fit Arabic people, and there are quite a few arabic themed transmogs.
I thought the point of role play was to play a role, not have the game add your fantasty in so you could roll play in it.
Make a character that looks arabic, transmog them arabic and go roleplay in areas that are arabic.
If you include this, you’ll get 20 other threads asking for other cultures to be added for role play sake and at that stage the devs would have to stop creating content that fits the expansion and full focus on adding cultures for representation sake.
I’m not even a roleplayer but i would really love a prince of persia or nier automata transmog in this game, I’ve never roleplayed and i probably never will, wanting to look good is not limited to that.
But don’t even pay attention to these kind of people, especially the ones who buy blizzards horrible looking mogs for real money, i’ve been really dissappointed of how blizzard is handling cosmetics in this game quite frankly a vast majority of them are horrible.
You do realise that arabs/persians are white skinned right? Like i swear you people treat us like some aliens or something.
Skin colors was never the issue, nor is customizations. Where did you get any of this in the thread?
I’m a pale skinned Arab by the way. We come in many skin colors
How is this related to the original topic?
You do realize the original topic is about representing the Wastewanders in a positive way, since they are based on the Arabs. They already got an update in BFA and I’m more there will be many future updates if Kalimdor gets revamped in a future expansion. That’s why I made the thread. I’m asking to represent them better since they have Arabic/ Persian names.
The dude flames me for buying blizzard stuff, yet they want to push their ideas, like i said its just twitter 2.0 this thread should be closed and these trolls banned.
The funny thing is they come at me when i live in a country thats friendly with so many arab countries for decades and we have alot of arab people here that live a peaceful life and i for one apreciate them, i do not apreciate twitter andy’s who push agendas and act like the world should just do what they say and nothing else.
I have no problem with buying cashshop items, the problem is you paid blizzard for an ugly looking product have you seen what games like final fantasy do with their cashshop?
I suggest both of you who replied to me re-read what I said because it’s not getting to you I suppose.
I’ll try again however.
There’s already role play protentional in wow for Arabic or Persian culture. You have transmog’s, areas and customization options that allow you to do this. I don’t see a reason to focus on adding even more specific culture themed options.
If they fit in the expansion theme, go all for it, otherwise no.
And why does everyone immediatly think of non white when I say skin color, isn’t that a bit racist?
If you think there aren’t any arabic themed places then you haven’t played wow.
You literally mentioned arab representation in your original post. I think you’ve lost the plot on what you’re asking for. The reason you’re asking for Wastewander representation is because it’s similar to Arabic representation, don’t try to hide and twist words in an attempt to make it look like it’s something it’s not.
Everyones perception of what is nice is different, we can’t all have what we want. The issue a lot of people have is that some try to change wow into something more representative of the real world and for a lot of people wow is a reason to escape real life.
Ofcourse you will find backlash with every suggestion. I don’t per say think yours is bad and if Blizzard would make an expansion about Wastewanders and it happens to make you happy I’d support that fully.
In the current that isn’t and probably won’t be the case as we already had a portion of it in BFA so I don’t think resources should be spend on further going into it when it has nothing to do with the current fantasy of wow.
Fair enough. Although wow does include lore updates sometimes in novels and comics, like they did with “exploring Kalimdor” whether they do the update on the Wastewanders in the next expansion or the one after that, doesn’t matter with me. I’m patient.
I just am sending the idea to Blizzard, from an Arabian roleplayer, in the hopes they take this into consideration for the future. Not necessarily now in Dragonflight.
Absolutely nothing wrong with it, I never said it was wrong for you to want it. But just because you want it doesn’t mean I have to agree on making it a priority.
