Considering they can barely make ends meet to add new mounts for pve end game content I find it doubtful they have extra intern artists to start focusing on cultures for representation sake.

You do make a point. They don’t necessarily have to do the update in the game itself. They can do it in a comic book or a short story. Either way it would give extra lore to the Wastewanders, and hopefully a positive one.
