I want to ask you if playing as an arakkoa on AD is actually “viable”, because on my main server it is very likely to get frowned upon for doing so. I’ve already heard that such more “special” character concepts, like dragons, arakkoa etc. are more a thing on AD and i’ve even read about an arakkoa guild on this server, so I’ve gotten curious if I could find a place to play one here.
Greetings, yes, Arakkoa RP is definitely viable here on AD, as for what kinds, both of them are just as viable as the other. The only thing you really need is a valid reason for your char to be on Azeroth really
Since I like every kind of arakkoa, except those of hellfire citadel, I’m quite flexible when it comes to the choice of arakkoa type for my character^^
Well I think the character was a worgen, but it might be someone you know/knew. The name was something with Av at the beginning. But nevermind, is your
guild open for RP? I think you know why I am asking
Yes, the guild is very much open. But it seems that is not me then- there is an arakkoa rp’er I haven’t heard of it seems on AD. Do send me a whisper on alliance with this account to discuss furter if you wish to! or on discord: Cowsdaemon#5620
As Zagkush said, cursed Arakkoa rp is absolutely viable.
High Arrakoa is more difficult, as the ones native to the main universe are thought extinct. However, playing one shouldn’t be any more impossible than it would be to rp a Mag’har Orc… from Alternative Draenor.
During the events of WoD there were portals opens between Stormwind, Orgrimmar and AU Draenor, so a High Arrakoa might have been able to pass through, in the year or so they were open?
I suppose there’s also the possibility of lone High Arrakoa somehow surviving in the wilderness of our Outland, but such individuals would be very rare, if they even exist at all.
Unless stated otherwise, I say playing a high Arakkoa from Outland, a place cursed and broken, save for Nagrand, but even that is dying, is something you should think twice about doing, it’s much safer to “Oh, I was curious and passed throught the time portal at the end of your stay in our world.”
