So, with the pre-patch coming out a lot sooner than anyone had actually imagined, you have also hit us with one of the worst nerfs possible at the worst times possible. People are struggling to get to 60 in that time frame, let alone geared enough to head into TBC.
This nerf needs to be reverted for the remainder of the classic-prepatch until TBC is ready to launch, THAT is what should be happening.
This is an example from an Arathi Basin win.
Honor: 220
Marks: 3
Time Estimated: 5 minutes, as an extremely generous win time-frame.
2 x One Handed Weapon Honor Required: 38250
38250 / 220 = 173.86 wins
Marks = 519
⌠173 wins, at a generous 5 minutes per win = 14 hours.
Maths is a very very weak point for me, so correct me if Iâm wrong.
Why Nerf honors this bad i need to win 100 game to get 1 item (one-hand axe) and i need to have 2 of them and we have 2 weeks to do that .in classic i was a raider enh shaman now i need to get my one hands when we raid rogues or warrs was prio always on one-hand axe or anythink⌠so i couldnt get them i understant it was like this before but before we had more times to do the honor gain not 2 weeks like now ok nerf it but no %90 u need to give us some room
Just did a AV we won after 20 min i got 225 honor, and need 20k ish for my ranged wep, so thats around 88 BGs and if they last like that one 20 mins, that will be 105 houers of fun BG time, and 266 marks i cant use, and thats with 100% win rate? how can they defend this nerf? im not going to do more PVP its not worth it ill rather wait til 70 and see if its any better.
To gear up via PVE/Raids will take you longer as itâs not for definite, time gated and requires other people.
PVP gear is a very good gear-catch up mechanism. Giving you what you need specifically without the hassle of losing it to someone else after X amount of hours.
And one more thing, why would they go ahead and remove the restrictions for the r14 gear, and then gate it behind some extremely long process where the majority cant get it anyway? No logic, No sense.
âYou will replace those items one week into TBCâ
Exactly, thatâs the thing. Why not let people get their gear quick and easy now, since the gear will be obsolete in 3 weeks? I really donât get it.
