I have been farming the Arathi Crusader’s Greatsword (item link here https://www.wowhead.com/item=237794/arathi-crusaders-greatsword) for a whole week so far 0 drops instead i got allot of Arathi Templar’s Claymore (https://www.wowhead.com/item=241033/arathi-templars-claymore) and the purple one.
Checking the collection tabs the Arathi Crusader’s Greatsword is listed as a Vendor item that on the PTR was sold at the same vendor that sells the purple versions of the weapons .
There are no drop rates for the item posted anywhere since the event launch that was extremely bugged till this day no drops of the Arathi Crusader’s Greatsword have been posted 2 forum replies that said they got it from the personal loot bags from the Nightfall event but no evidence for it .
Taking in consideration that these are just catchup items not mounts not legendary item drops i really think either up the drop rates or add the items to vendor like they were on the ptr where you could use the weekly currency to buy them.
I understand how RNG works (the fact that loot doesn’t respect your Loot specialization is even worse ) ,but getting to renown 10 (maxed) with the Flame radiance and 0 drop for that specific item farming this event really feels like it is not respecting the time invested .
ATT shows it drops off the Epic participation cache.
WoWHead doesn’t have the drop rates in probably because it’s barely been over a week and there’s not enough data to log and evaluate off of.
Nah, this is good… else you’d need an army of alts to collect everything. Maybe a system to guarantee not getting duplicates until you got them all would’ve been nice.

It’s due to a bug. The item was not added to any class database. For example: I got each piece of white transmog plate and every usable weapon on my warrior, without getting any duplicates until I got them all - except for this sword. Only after I got “everything” did I start to get other armor type drops (mail, leather, cloth) and other weapons that my class can’t use (warglaives, etc). The item simply wasn’t added to the list, so now you have to roll the dice and hope it drops, out of almost 100 possible items. Blizzard needs to fix the bug."
Neah bro it’s not fine playing 12 hours a day farming the event on the hour with 0 drop it just a blatant disrespect of investment and dedication

Ive had 3 so far, even had the unused model that was added to the blue bag twice. its the 1h mace/flail that im missing.
