Hi. I posted here a few days ago asking about unlocking the Darkshore Warfront which turned out to be a lot easier than I anticipated. I just had to do the intorduction quest line to Kul’Tiras with Harbourmaster and the Owl on the ship had the quest to guide me further. But now I’d like to unlock the Arathi Highlands Warfront as well, but there’s no quest to take me there. As far as I know, it’s supposed to come from the Recruitment Officer near the boat but he doesn’t offer it. And when I go to Arathi itself and try to speak to Zidormi, she just says some stuff but doesn’t offer to take me to the BfA version of the Highlands. I’m still in the Cata version right now and there’s only one portal in Boralus, being the Darkshore one. My only hope is that once Horde reclaims Stormgarde, I’ll get the quest but the Horde contribution has been stuck on 18% for more than 24 hours and I don’t know if that will work at all.
I read somewhere else that you’ll have to complete the Main story line to unlock either of the Warfronts but that turned out to be untrue as I already unlocked the Darkshore one just by completing the introduction quest line, so I think there should be a shortcut for Arathi as well but I might’ve missed it or something.
I was wondering if anyone could help me unlock it because I haven’t found anything despite Googling all day. All the posts date back to BfA which is kinda useless for me because those tips doesn’t really work now.

The Warfronts cycle on a 3- to 5-day rotation, regardless of contributions. Contributions just speed it up - and I imagine contributions have gone to nothing these days.
At least, that’s what it was during BfA. I don’t see why they would change it now.
But I just went there on an Alliance character, and to Darkshore, and World Quests are up on both for Alliance, so right now Alliance is holding both Arathi and Darkshore, (it’s EU-wide) which means that if you get the Darkshore portal, you ought to getting the introductory Arathi quest, which if I have navigate this correctly I think is

Ok just to clarify things, there are a pre-quest before you can obtain this quest, you must complete all of your quests in regards to the war, and the main quest line that has you get friendly faction with several places, once you complete this step you can then move on to get this quest To the front! and use the teleporter to get to the proper place in arathi, I was stuck on this forever… hope this helps someone that might be stuck on the same problem! Just keep following your main quest, and it will pop up after you complete the Unity quest.
But if you could open Darkshore without opening World Quests, I can’t see why that quest is not available to you.
Tell me, when you go to Darkshore, do you see World Quests on the map? And for that matter, do you see them in Kul Tiras? I’m still stuck on the opening WQ thing. That was essential to the Warfronts, and I don’t see how it makes sense to open those areas if you can’t see the world quests.
I don’t see world quests anywhere because I didn’t get to that part in the story but Darkshore opened to me because I accepted the quest “On Whispered Winds” which took me there. I went there purely because I wanted the Night Warrior eyes cosmetic for my Night Elf and to farm the rares for transmog and mounts. I don’t think it opened the Warfront part, strictly speaking. It just opened the BfA timeline of Darkshore for me. And I’d like the same for Arathi Highlands but I think I’ll just have to unlock THAT as the Warfront because I don’t think there’s any other way to unlock that zone apart from opening it through the Warfront quest line.
But I could be wrong.
AHhhh. That makes more sense. So the Night Warrior quest opened the Darkshore phase, but not the WQ or Warfronts.
I still think getting the three reps to Friendly and the Uniting Kul Tiras quest will do the unlock, then.
