Won’t happen.
It is a Hunterpet already.
Like Sul’raka (DF - Emerald Dream rar cat), or the dreamsabers, or the rockfangs (DF cat), or the old and new tiger models (classic / mop), or the pathara (legion), etc.
Druid (especially feral) is not a focus for blizzard and therefore we will be given nothing and we will be happy.
So many amazing looking cats (and bears for that matter too), but hunter (#1 played class, next to pala) has to get the cake and eat it too.
I am still so unimaginable mad, that Sul’Raka is a freaking hunterpet. It has a connection to a Loa for gods sake (Kimbul - his daugther, if I am not mistaken) … a freaking wild god … druid lore galore! … nope … hunter gets it …
Guess they are whining louder than druid (except moonkin, these owls are loud as hell on their discord and everywhere else).
Still … the lynxes are so freaking amazing, but as soon as I saw their model revealed during alpha I knew: hunter has a new toy …
Is there any model (except some legion artefact appearances) that a hunter can’t tame as a freaking pet, that a druid can shift into? I think not … a part of a class (hunter - 66%, as MM is not really playing with the pet) has more options (like what? 1000+ pet models?) than a freaking class, with the whole identity about shifting into animals.
But it is classic blizzard - the louder classes get it all (hunter, mages, warlocks, etc.) …
TL;DR: Yes please! But won’t happen, because of hunter!
