I really want to farm out the 7th legion armor set for transmogrifaction, but I am confused from where I can get it. The game says I can get it in Arathi Warfront. Now, in Kul Tiras capital I can queue to a warfront at a table with maps on it.
There are two columns, left side ‘Battle for Stromgarde’ says 4 days x hours left. However, I can not queue there because both the normal and heroic buttons are grey. Normal button says I need to defeat world monsters in Arathi Highlands for special rewards. No idea what is this, and how does this get me queue to warfront.
Right side column I can queue since I reached item level 330 I think. I can queue to Battle for Darkshore. There is a timer as well for about 5 days.
So, please help me guys, which warfront should I try to queue to get the armor set? If it’s the left side one, how can I queue for that, and lastly what are those timers below them?
Right now the Horde have access to the Arathi warfront. You will have to wait for the cycle to catch up in a couple weeks for the alliance to gain access to that warfront. In the meantime, you can take the portal to Arathi and kill the rares there. They have a small chance to drop the armour pieces for your transmog collection.
What @Corniferus said. But I would also add that the rares in Arathi only drop the tier2 of the Warfront set. If you want the tier3 you will have to wait till the Warfront is up on the Alliance side, and then do the quests for both the heroic and the normal version.
The normal set, which is displayed in the “armor set”-tab can be obtained by farming the normal mobs while you have control over Arathi and doing the assault itself.
There are other pieces of armor that looks slightly different, which is obtainable by the quest that requires you to assault the warfront.
Yea, this one is confusing. As I understand, that cool looking set can be obtained only by doing those 2 quests (for normal and for heroic) that become available basically once a month.
Adding to this. In 8.3 we will be getting new boe items for every profession and this time those items will have the appearance of the elite Arathi warfront set. They will cost you quite a bit after patch launch but might be worth considering when you are just missing a piece or two.
