I was just in workshop and did my regular rotation on burst, but when waiting on my big barrage thats usually 100k non crit with Surge, RoP, 20 stacks prism, int pot I get a 58 k crit. Has anyone else experienced the same? Seems like it might be a bug cause I don’t recall it happening before.
I played a workshop yesterday myself and that wasn’t the case. Has this happened today only or since prepatch launched for you?
I have another problem - barrage consume 0 or only 2 arcan charges half of the time. I have 4 of them - use barrage 4 times in a row and it consume 0. Sometimes it consume 2 of 4. Does it have any condition to consume charges now or am I missing something?
I was super confused by this cause it happens every so often, I thought it might be a talent that I’d misread but I checked and there’s no mention of it.
The only thing I think it could be is the Artifice of the Archmage conduit, which gives Arcane Barrage a chance to generate 2 Arcane Charges but I don’t have it active.
It must just be a bug.

My mage is 40 lvl so I dont think that problem is conduit.

Yeah it’s definitely not the conduit, I don’t have it active.
It seems that sometimes Arcane Barrage simply doesn’t consume Arcane Charges.

I have the same problem.
It is properly consuming, what is bugged is the charge display ~ it is displaying charges that are not there
