Arcane in PVP

Aracane mage in pvp is absolute rubbish, stats show its on very end of the ladder yet blizz ignore it since ages, i mean rly, why? why arcane mage last pvp changes had months ago whilst being so so weak in pvp ? why other classes constantly see improvements where arcane is left behind?

Arcane rework is joke, its not rework, changing couple skills for baseline + one new fairly weak talent make no difference,

Right now only worth playing spec in pvp is fire, used to be where arcane is now but blizz made it worth playing - why arcane cant be same…

no man, arcane doesn’t get ignored, we are getting nerfed next hotfix

hmm? havent seen any notes for arcane, there is something for frost and fire but cant see arcane?

-10% surge bonus damage
-15% dmg on arcane blast when used with presence of mind

can y link source? last official notes are about increased barrage damage + no cd , havent seen mentioned by y

Couldn’t find anything about these nerfs anywhere until the official notes dropped: -

  • Arcane
    • Arcane Surge now increases Spell Power by 25% in PvP combat (was 35%).

    • Arcane Blasts now deal 85% damage when cast with Presence of Mind in PvP combat.

It’s near the bottom where all the PvP changes are: -

  • MAGE
    • New PvP Talent: Improved Mass Invisibility – The cooldown of Mass Invisibility is reduced to 1 minute and it can affect allies in combat.

    • Diverted Energy healing reduced by 75% in PvP combat (was 50%).

    • Flow of Time reduced by 50% in PvP combat.

      • Developers’ note: This is intended to nullify the changes in the recent updates to Diverted Energy and Flow of Time in PvP combat.
    • Arcane

      • Arcane Surge now increases Spell Power by 25% in PvP combat (was 35%).

      • Arcane Blasts now deal 85% damage when cast with Presence of Mind in PvP combat.

    • Fire

      • Unleashed Inferno’s damage increase is now 33% effective in PvP combat.

      • Sun King’s Blessing damage increase is now 40% effective in PvP combat.

      • Flame Accelerant’s damage increase is now 60% effective in PvP combat.

      • Wildfire’s critical strike damage effect is now 75% effective in PvP combat.

      • Wildfire’s critical strike damage effect during Combustion is now 67% effective in PvP combat.

      • Firefall no longer grants double benefit from hitting players.

      • Pyrokinesis has been removed.

    • Frost

      • Glacial Assault damage increase reduced by 50% in PvP combat.

      • Cryopathy damage per stack reduced by 40% in PvP combat.

      • Ice Lance damage is increased by 15% in PvP combat (was 34%).

      • Winter’s Blessing Haste reduced by 50% in PvP combat.

      • Frigid Empowerment reduced by 33% in PvP combat.

      • Splitting Ice’s damage to secondary targets for Glacial Spike is reduced by 50% in PvP combat.

Lol, havent seen not even single Youtuber saying about them, weird, anyway, arcane just had some small buff, nothing special but i guess we need to be happy with what we got…

i was streaming a bg and had spart100 come on my chat and say… “wish arcanosphere di more dmg”

even after the 25% buff, every bg, i nail the entire enemy team, as full geared, flasked, food buff, zerg, saltwaters pre-evocation, managem, trinket and i NEVER killed anyone with it, even with the precasted evocation, 60% dmg buff from zerg and salt, managem 5% dmg, evocation was also buffed and i still scratch enemies in 4-5 second cast after having also to cast surge before, meh…
