Its just not here on EU, US as well. Very similar expressions about “mage” class.

One solution would be to give warlock Arcane Intelect buff and delete mage completely along giving us free class change.

I dont play PvE, but from what Im seeing all over the place, mage is not doing well at all. But I play PvP a lot. Mage can not stand in 1v1 situations due not having stun, blanket silence or self heal like ALL other classes do.

Its really frustrating not be able to stand up to classes due to poor game design.

Remove the class and give us free class change so we can play warlocks instead.

So, prun classes to general “tank” “heal” “mdps” and “rdps”?
Then add 5th class pvp which is useless in PVE but the only one making sense for PVP.

This game never was balanced and never will be in total balance, its always changing, you should now that.

Total idiot would able to notice that there is something wrong with class design where all classes have selfheal along with stun and in some cases silence too. While only one class not having any of that.

Not all classes except mages have a single spec that combines stun silence and healing, even more so when it comes taking talents into account
Not all classes have stun silence and healing distrubited over all specs at all.

Even a mage has limited and conditional self healing capabilites (pvp talent) + shield which is pretty much the same, a turn in of mana for increasing lifetime against damage taken.

Turn the tables:
Not all classes have spammable cc
Not all classes have ranged kick
Not all classes have offensive dispell
Not all classes have defensive dispell
Not all classes have stealth/invisibility/camouflage

Everyone has his highs or lows, be save play druid?

Mages are not weak in pvp right now

Arcane mage does decent ST dmg. It’s movement and cleave where it falls down.

Could be easily fixed by bringing back clearcast charges and buffing nether tempest.

Original post. Was that a serious post? Or you just trying trolling. Coming on a mage forum and saying to delete mages. It’s only in mythic raiding we’re really struggling. Outside that frost is doing ok in raids and quite well in mythic+. Fire and Arcane need some tlc but it’s not all gloom, arcane has good ST and Fire has a good execute, both have very strong burst. Lets hope we get some beefy spec traits on the necks for 8.2 though.

No no no, he said mage is the ONE AND ONLY class without a stun or a heal.

The examples in your response are not like for like comparisions. It would only be like for like if you can name ONE AND ONLY ONE class that doesn’t have any of the following :

  • a spammable cc
  • a ranged kick
  • an offensive dispel
  • a defensive dispel
  • a stealth/ invisibility/ camouflage

Just hinting its not the only class.
