My question:
Should i drop weapon corruption for 3 x severe or 3 x expedient or
something entirely different?

Id go with severe x3 for now, but twisting appendage or infite star 3 is the best for mages

I’d agree with Pertos on Severe, but I’d wouldn’t bother with Stars or Appendage, stat boosting corruptions seem like the way to go on a Mage regardless of spec.
As for Expedient, despite the weight of haste, I’ve always found that more haste just means you run yourself out of mana faster, so you spend more time conserving. With Severe, you cast less spells but overall they hit harder thanks to the crits, making it easier to manage your mana.

IS is pretty garbo 
I mean it sims great, but in a real fight it’s too unreliable.
