of all the pruning they did, why didn’t they get rid of surge and gave us back arcane power…?
‘cos they don’t know what to do with spellcasters in latest WOW mechanics.
With current state of the game there is almost no rational gameplay reason to choose a traditional hard-cast DPS class in modern WoW…which, especially, killed all mage specs.
We have ‘fillers’ with no damage with cast time + rooted in place which results in bad opener sequence and many conditions that must be met in order to do some proper damage.
I regret paying for a deal of 6 months for subscription ‘cos the state of mages locked me out of high-end content. I just log in to craft and earn some money in AH….i am rarely invited to raids and 10+ keys ‘cos i am fire mage
surge is one of the worst things we have rn in the game
they pruned 20 things, couldn’t prune the one thing no real arcane mage player wants… unless they buff this spell dmg by 500%, and id still pick arcane power anyday…
