For some reason, I can’t switch char to post with, I am stuck with this classic toon.
On topic. I’ve got my mage to full 220 with all gems and ideal stats, but kind of nervous stepping into the proper arena. I am not interested in frost, fire is fun and to go spec, but i prefer arcane playstyle, and the spec fantasy is more fun. I know it is one of the weaker specs atm, and deffo not one to start playing mage in arena seriously…
Does anyone here play arcane, or just dabbles with it ocasionally to have some input.
Besides the usual macro and keybinds, is it useful to macro /stopcasting into spellsteal, slow etc, in order to use them while trying to fakecast?
Would Kyrian be a decent cov choice in combo with harmony, RoP and AP for some burst, or Venthyr is a must? I see the highest rated arcane mage, Numbing on US sargeras has recently switched to Kyrian, but that may be PvE related.
Are ther double dps comps that can work, and what would be the best options in 3s?
EU is theoretically NF but if you check his profile he has MT challenge gear so he was just doing Arcane Challenge. 2nd guy is Venthyr. 1st NA guy is also Venthyr. Unless someone who is higher blocked data sharing in settings then they are highest.
Kyrian is bis for M+ for Arcane so there is your answer. He is nowhere near being highest to be fair. Venthyr gives you guaranteed Missles Proc. so you can burst on demand. Necro Arcane is Arcanosphere gimmick.
Why do you even look at 2s guys. This is a bracket for Anoraaz and Xgeist to brag on being 200th or 250th MW or whatever. 3s are where the real arenas happen.
well, both brackets gives titles… i play both I don’t really feel much different between those. 2s are more annoying due to hunter/war overabundance but it also shows what is competitive and what is not.
You can’t get anything over Elite in 2s for a reason. 2s were always rock/paper/scissors. There are matchups that enemy has to throw for you to win them.
I don’t believe it’s necessary. You can simply move to cancel your cast. But you can obviously do that.
Not sure. But Kyrian heavily suffers to Arcane spell school.
My personal preference for Arcane is Venthyr, it also works well to set up Polymorph as you can Venthyr-disorient into Sheep. Something that you generally lack as Arcane because you lack DB.
Necrolord isn’t that bad either, but I dislike long CDs.
I believe best option is WW / Arcane / Hpal or RMP.
That said, we’re playing FAP. You can judge yourself how well it goes.
