Arch villain Rafaam makes it to WoW?

Rafaam is a powerful warlock who is the enemy of the league of explorers,
He makes plans such as destroying Dalaran, resurrecting Galakrond or just goes around and messes with ancient artifact
The idea of a million years old mummy warlock who does bad stuff behind the screen when he’s not really the main villain of the expansion, but always there , ready to make a mess , is really cool to me
he made appearance in a few hearthstone cenimatics, and keep in mind hearthstone always makes things more cartoony and a lot sillier than WoW , So I expect this to be a little more realistic than this but here’s some of his time on screen

His group, the league of E.V.I.L is probably likely to be there too, can’t wait to see them in dragonflight

Sadly they gave him a fairly generic model so he will probably play a very minor role. Still fun to see him in game though!

Just how canon is Hearthstone supposed to be anyway? I thought we killed Dr. Boom in TBC.

Pretty much not at all except for very select things that Blizzard carries over.

It never occurred to me that Rafaam was an Ethereal. I always thought he was some kind of genie.

Many things in hearthstone aren’t cannon until WoW or it’s books decide they are

the books aren’t even canon in most cases since the devs ignore them heh

My headcanon considers it an alternative universe.
