It’s that time, every 6 months where we’re able to obtain a mount from Archaeology (If not done already)
As a lot of you know, it’s a long grind, but worth it in the end.
Now the frustrating part is, since many people are doing this quest, when you proc a ghost cow for a lot more bone fragments, it can get tagged by horde or other players.
Simple solution, make the mob automatically tagged if you procced it. It’s a nightmare when people steal your mob / bone fragments. I’ve seen people complain in general because it happens a lot.

Also want to point out that this quest gives you a lot of restored artifact, which I’d personally use on Tol’Vir for a chance to obtain the lovely blue Qiraji Battle Tank.
I got my mount when the quest last came up 6 months ago. For anyone who would like it but doesn’t know anything about archeology, fear not! You don’t need a certain profession level to get the quest so you can start from 0. It will take a few hours to farm the fragments (quicker or slower depending on how lucky you get with the random mobs spawning and, as Versorius says, whether other people steal the tag on the mob). It’s pretty easy and relaxing to do and it’s a lovely mount so definitely worth the effort. Go get your ghost moose everyone!

A good idea is to take a Druid or Warrior, something with an instant-cast AoE attack that you can just spam in the event of bonus ghost moos if there’s people around. I did it with my Druid and only lost a tag once because an Alliance Hunter happened to be doing a Barrage in my direction right as the moo spawned.
