Archaeology rare solves not being correctly tracked?

Some rare solves that I have already completed such as Innkeeper’s daughter hearthstone, arrival of the naaru, bones of transformation etc. are not showing up in my completed archaeology tab.

Is this intended, and will it affect which digsites spawn if it is not correctly tracking my completion of all rare artifacts for a given digsite type?

Yes it works like that, if you get all rare finds including epic item from a race then the dig site will spawn way less often

I know that’s the intended design. I have completed solves that are not showing up as completed under my archeology tab.

I solved them and have the item, but my archaeology log is not showing them as completed.
