It is indeed mostly due to BoE farmers. Don’t worry, Blizzard already nerfed the best two spots to farm (one in Arden one in Maldra). Mostlikely they will nerf the rest, but even if they don’t, by the time the raid will be out barely anyone will farm BoEs.
This, there’s a bunch of 2x4 farm groups and the farm groups for the gorm mount.
Wish Blizz would just kill off this “2x4” farming, with gradual diminishing of drops… people have been abusing the respawning mechanic that was implemented to counter overcrowding competition for mobs for people questing…

Uh huh… meanwhile MB’ers abused the multi tapping of resource nodes that was implemented in Legion to counter the botting problem with Suramar.

Apparently not and I’m aswel frustrated as you are i can’t finish any wqs or any storyline campaign quests in Ardenweald the lagg makes the game unplayable.
I’m playing on terrokar realm on my alt i abandoned this char almost.
Also you would think that a million dolar company can keep one zone in the game working fine but they can’t even do that.
I play on Saurfang (joint realm with Terrokar) and I can confirm the lag in Ardenweald is awful (except inside the Heart of the Forest where everything seems to be normal). It took me 2 hours to complete a chapter of my Night Fae campaign … where it would normally not have taken more than 30 mins.
This has been going on for days (I believe it’s day 4 now). So I hope someone from Blizzard is doing something to fix it since I am sure they already know about it as they have monitoring systems in place.

The lag seems to be the worst when the world quest in the amphitheater is up, the one where you have to find the boggarts.

I confirm your story.The lag is horrible makes the main convenat campaign unplayable and world quests horrible in that zone.
Yes i had to skip that world quest because the lag actually prevented me from completing it.

This same problem is on drakthul as well. I exped my first char in shadowlands yesterday and i had to be a little bit drunk to finish the main storyline in ardenweald. So gg blizz

Yall guys are damn mad, first you want to bann Multiboxers which I think is very okay, now you want to prevent people from farming 2x4 ? which is a good way, to farm gear, for each alt, or the AH.
Cmon guys, stop your madess! Let the people farm and do your own stuff.
