They became small weak beings which are dependent from a well. In which universe it is a evolution?
They changed for the better, from Troll Like Nightelves, to graceful Highelves.
And Nightelves never changed, because they never stopped relying on the powers of their well.
Eredar were invited to join the Legion because they were superior in the first place. And Draenei are the ones who declined.
The ones who wanted to join the Legion to become superior were the Followers of Azshara (Nightelves as far as i remember.).
Your people loved her so much, they even named their Capital City after her.

The ones who followed Azshara were the Highborne, some of whom rebelled against her late in the WotA, and were later exiled for conjuring a magical stormed. The exiled rebel Highborne founded Quel’thalas

Yes, i did. And generally they are very close to Nightelven ones. Their orientation is in a similar angle etc. They are just slightly smaller.
Just look at this comparison and tell me that Nightelven females are not just slightly more slender Troll Ladies.

Not really, but since they changed from Trolls to Nightelves due to the Wells power, and the only ones seperated from it changed to Highelves and Nightborne it’s just logical.

That’s just a stupid comparison. Female Trolls have the body type of a human.
They changed because they used other wells. Highborne are literally born as addicted Elves.
This are just Blood Elves without anything. The raw version of them, without any influence from a well.

The Highelves changed before they even got a new well, because they were seperated from the new Well at Hyjal.
WoWpedia sais this about the time when they werewandering to look for a new Home:

We should blow up the well at Mount Hyjal to see what a Nightelf without well would look like.
The Highelves evolved to have this addicion, just like every other race can develop one. Their natural form is the one they have with the well active, they changed over millenia to need its power. Saying “this is their natural form without a well” is like posting a starved human and saying this is our natural form without food.
Oh no. I hope that the big addiction of High Elves played a role in this. Don’t wanna be a weak barbie.

I just don’t understand why you call it evolution. I only see disadvantages. You just look like a hot chick for the humans but that’s all.

Ap ap ap ap! Son of a junkey is prone to be more addicted to drugs. Food is essential to live, while addiction… well its dependence - lethal in more cases, but not essential like this Pumpkiiin!

The only Differenzen between high and bloodelves left is a cultural one, since the sunwell hast been reignited.
And Like i said: all elves evolved with a well of power to rely in, and all elves still rely in their respective Well.

They sucked artifacts dry, instead of Usingen Fel Crystal for the time the sunwell was down. They are as “addicted” as everyone other elf.

No, if there is no source you can’t just say that.

So we know:
- Nightelves evolved with the power of the Well of Eternity.
- The original Well was destroyed in the Sundering.
- A new Well made by Illidan at Mount Hyjal using Water from the old Well.
- All elves that got seperated from the well changed until they got a new source of arcane power.
- The Ancestors of Nightelves (and all elves) were Dark Trolls.
- The only Elves that didn’t change from their original elven Form were the Nightelves.
-The Satyr were empowered by the original Well and later by pure Fel-energy
-The Naga by the original Well and later by an old God
-The Highelves by the original Well and later by the Sunwell - Magical Artifacts - the Sunwell again
-The Bloodelves by the original Well and later by the Sunwell - Fel-crystals - the Sunwell again
-The Voidelves by the original Well and later by the Sunwell - Fel-crystals - the Sunwell again and now Void-energy
-The Nightborne by the original Well and later the Nightwell
-The Nightelves by the original Well of Eternity and now the new one at Mount Hyjal.
I think the only logical conclusion here is that they had no reason to change and no withdrawal because their well never was gone for a long period.
