In pve, they are decent. Arcane seems to be the strongest mage spec. Likely to be close to meta in m+ due to the way the keys are scaling, survivability will be more important than dps.
pvp? check fire and frost, keep getting buffs where arcane is getting kicked constantly since last “rework” ( change of 2 skills in skill tree + redesign of the 1 spell - mega rework, yeah ) , this week they nerfed his survival ability where fire and frost got buffs…
No clue why blizz so much doesnt like arcane…
