I did one M+ run this week, with augevoker, no one flamed the augevoker but I was flamed for “doing less damage than other mages with augevokers” kekL
No groups ive been in has ever flamed one
depends entirely on other 2 dps.
if other 2 dps are good runs go smoothly and nobody cares and you dont know if its because other 2 dps carry group and evoker or if evoker is buffing correctly
if other 2 dps are garbage - we have now no way to know if its because they are gabrgae or evoker plays like garbage unless you will check logs and nobody does that mid dungeon
so its in very wierd spot now .
That’s like saying the tank is useless because the DPS are bad, or the healer is useless because the DPS are bad.
Do you not see what you’re saying is incredibly flawed. Either way, I’m not going to argue with you. I don’t think even you completely comprehend what you’re saying. Your logic is flawed. If someone is bad, it’ll affect the group regardless.
its not the same because tank / healer are not taking 3rd dps spot. and evokers are atm .
And if you’re running high keys, it doesn’t matter who is bad in the group, it’s still going to bring the overall performance of the group down. That’s like saying healer is useless unless your DPS are good, because without good DPS, it doesn’t matter how much healing you do, you’re going to fail the dungeon.
Augmentation is good, whether you like it or not. Augmentation doesn’t just bring DPS to the table in the form of buffs. It brings damage reduction, utility, and healing, that alone is insane. You can even pull bad players out of mechanics. As a whole, the spec is incredibly valuable, even if the 2 DPS you’re playing with are bad. If you were a pure DPS, you’re not carrying the other 4 players to victory through sheer damage if you lack a tank who can press CDs, and a healer who doesn’t know how to heal people.
It is not an augmentation evoker exclusive problem.
(Haven’t seen it happen myself, though, luckily.)

I saw it happen in a key where I joined as DPS with my friend who plays augmentation evoker. He was sitting just above the healer in DPS on details and the tank went off at him, lol.
Well, there are enough dummies in this game that flame the support 
Personally I don’t care about his damage, and not even what logs say. As long as I feel his buffs(and I know my potential damage in dungeons, so as long as I have bigger dps, I feel it), and he is doing his job as dps (the utility part, where he interrupts, giving us zephyr, helping us with the movement speed and so on) I don’t really care if he is even under healer.

People who do not understand augs will flame them while thinking they just became a lot more skilled. 
Read that several times now, maybe it would have been better off as a healer/support spec. I know that’s not really what they wanted, but it seems most players are too dumb and too focused on addons to understand the spec.

That’s because details are now showing what they add to other dmg dealers and tanks correctly.
Its entirerly Blizzard fault.
Also its Blizzard fault for tuning them like this. They shoudl be doing liek 60-70 percent of DMG dps do not 20 % and BUFF much less to others .
We have no way to show if people are wrong or not . We have no way of seeing real impact they have on group without chekcing logs.
You have no way to see whether they are buffing correctly or just semi afk watching Netflix .
Untill this is fixed by showing correct details people have right to be annoyed

People need to start judging performance around how well the key is going rather than if their details bar is the biggest. 
How well the key is going is always directly tied to performance.
In keys that goes fast and smooth nobody cares about details numbers.
I haven’t seen any negativity about any aug. And to be honest, they are completely broken OP.
Aug is actually a broken spec at the moment. The good news is once you get closer to 20s or past 20, folks are hungry to bring you into their groups.
