I reported someone last night, is anything likely to happen? Game started hpal/war vs druid/war, warriors met in middle and after a few seconds my pala accidentally bubbled. The other warrior instantly (and 100% pointlessly) switched target and used shattering throw in the middle of his burst on me.
rotation botter? what should that be?
Someone who uses a rotation bot for pvp. Handles pvp rotation, auto kicks, auto cc instantly on enemy burst, auto-shattering throw on bubbles etc
there isnt such a thing going on.
you assume that just on that one arena game?
i guess you where a necro warrior?
Yes there is, google those words. I was playing Kyrian warrior. We’re talking about a 5ms reaction time for the other warrior to pointlessly switch target (not even focus target) and cast shattering throw. This was during his full burst on me, paladin was at range behind me.
first of, a rotation bot that isnt even going allround, is completly useless besides that rotations are already easy as hell.
the last time i faced of a kick bot was once in legion in rbg.
2nd. we didnt see the game, so what really happened and how fast it definetly did and how fast you realized it.
3rd just cause of some random actions of some players there isnt allway a bot behind.
also why ask on forum if you already have a precreated opinion and just look for stuff that fit your view instead of openinded research?
its called tracking addons like omnibar where you see plates and then you can react.
tracking bubble and thinking just because you can remove it you should, even that may or may not be the case.
i play this game myself and this xpac i didnt even once face off anything suspicious.
Besides that they would get banned anyway.
I think he want to say that his buddy missclicked to bubble and other warrior have 0.5 ms switch to ST bubble. Thats blow his mind.
P.S. When honorbuddy was a thing, even in casual BGs backpedal players using dcd’s, CC’s when even my burst animation not showed up and 0.00001 sec kicks like super-pro Korean teenager reaction players. Now its in the past. But its possible that people can use custom bots. If u have money - u can have many things, u know.
So you’ve gone from saying they don’t exist to that they’re not very good and nobody uses them else you get banned. There are multiple ones available, as you probably know now.
2nd why would I lie or exaggerate? It was literally an instant reaction that confused me no end because I was sitting in a stun while he was going ham on me.
3rd well one of three things happened. A) Warrior is using a pvp bot, b) warrior accidentally happened to switch target and shatter the exact instant the paladin made a mistake and pointlessly bubbled, c) warrior has godlike reactions but knows nothing about pvp and thought it was more important to spend his GCD on breaking a bubble instead of executing his kill target. Which do you honestly think is most likely?
Did you even read my question? My question is, are Blizzard doing anything about cheat reports for rotation botters?
If the paladin had BOPed me and the warrior insta shattered me I’d think nothing of it. It’s just the way the warrior switched target to pointlessly ST a bubble, then switched target back to me, rather than just gib me. It made the game last longer cause I should have died a lot earlier than I did.
Whats more likely? that the warrior made a random mistake that coincided with what happened, or that they are using some kind of seemingly worthless cheat?
It’s not seemingly worthless to bad players, ie their customer base. It can be quite effective in low level pvp though, just not in this instance.
maybe he wanted to remove bubble so he can get ccd to not heal you and can kill you with that? who knows whats going on in ppls mind.
d) the warrior was bursting you, see/hear that bubble was turned on. he wanted to remove it so h can get ccd and continue on you but the reaction time isnt as fast as you remebered. cause there is also such a thing as global cooldown.
i didnt say they dont exist or existed. im just saying these bots are not going allround, else you would see it everywhere happen and you should have faced them all over the time in SL.
im not saying you lie, but the impression of how fast someone reacts can trick your mind sometimes cause you are in a procces of thinking in that moment aswell that has an influence on it.
yes you saw this in the past, but im saying such a thing isnt going allround at this date.
but its hard to say what really happened if we see no pov. cause persional impressions in a stressign situation can blur what really happened to something you realized diffrently
it is worthless. cause the customer base of bad players mostly dont care enough to pay more money for a program that can get them banned to get close to zero value
you never know whats going on in bad players mind. they do random stuff. That doesnt mean there is a higher purpose behind it or anything like that.
Yeah I wish I’d been recording. My pala /w him and the reply was ‘so, what you going to do about it?’ but I accept that the warrior could be lying about using it.
My limited understanding is that they kick at the end of casts in more modern releases. Apparently someone realised it was more damaging to let 3-4 fake casts go through rather than 0.01 kicking. Who’d of thought…
I accidentely double-clicked turtle at a random time (its next to my “Next target”; i fatfinger much too often) JUST as a warr stormbolted me. So i didnt get stunned but also instantly removed it after. He made an alliance alt, pm:ed me and told me he reported me for cheating etc.
Sometimes stars align. Its far more likely than someone cheating.
(When my healer asked if it was intentional, I informed him that i did indeed make the best play of the year and he was very impressed and we laughed and celebrated. … … but I knew…)
ive been called botter by some hunters for reflecting their trap cause they walked so obviously to trap. Even some traps where missed and lied there where i just walked in with reflect xD
and i had 2-3 kicks i landed on 0.1 second cause i accidently kicked. while 1 was just a gamble where i pre kicked. ( i dont even know why cause its pretty risky). This is possible when you watch the enemys movements when he starts to stand still to cast.
These things happen indeed. so on random situations its just not botting, its just luck/bad luck
but id never get a kick bot if i could. i had so many situations where a kickbot woulve kicked a rshaman while letting him fake himself to death was just much more amusing.
Holding on kicks is such a huge thing in many situations.
Agreed, I’ve felt bad in the past by reacting so slowly to a fake cast that I kicked the start of the next one.
Pretty sure modern autokicks wait until the end of the cast though.
these would be harder to counter/outplay but they are also pretty hard to set up, cause latency/server etc have an impact.
But a end of cast kickbot ive never seen after that one time in a rbg in legion.
but things like those get definetly bannned.
My whole point is just. 99 out of 100 times such things happen and you think this is a bot, its not one for sure.
And if such a bot is actually used, works and wont risk a ban (unlikely) you would see it much much more happen.
kekw gold.
My last 3s match on tbc.
“Me: Misclicked silencing shot on rdruid”
“Rogue mate: Nice dude you isnta silenced on NS, that was insane” (we got the kill there on a rogue that cloaked his wound poisons off)
"Me: yeah i know right (totally intendet cough)
No, kicks was in 0.00000001 sec at the beggining of the cast.
