People had no acess to legal thousands of gold for 20 dollars since dawn of WoW.
The systems work so oddly that it almost feels like they promote the boosting services.
Why at least PvP boosting hasn’t been forbidden yet is a good question. It affects the normal playing player way more than PvE boosting does. I guess they cba to put time and effort in monitoring it, besides the fact they sell more tokens due to it…
Not really as big of a offender as PvP and I say that as someone who PvP’s on the side and not as main content, uncompetitively
Still a problem tho that really has to be adressed in both cases
As for PvP being big now, the single only reason is it’s the content that has a vendor with workable, tangible gear progression through upgrades
I’m looking at the current PvE VP reward system and then I look back at the PVP honour gearing system and I’m still thinking man M+ is still in a really bad place gear incentive wise, you have to regrind the items you already had if you want to upgrade them and it’s not even 9.1 yet
I say ban boosting of any kind. No matter who it affects or not, they are still paying ingame gold (which many people pay real life money for) so as to do content they are not skilled or even prepared to do normally. It’s cheating either way.

Yes that’s what I’ve been saying, gearing caused this surge for PvP. I agree M plus without a vendor is not going to match the accessibility of PvP gear. Raiding is still stuck with low drop rates despite being buffed. I think it’s great they fixed PvP and gave them back the vendor they’ve been asking for for years. I’m just sad that for some reason they’ve totally dropped the ball with PvE gear this expansion.
I’ve just accepted that I was going to be at a disadvantage with gear this expansion as I really didn’t want to spend a lot of time doing PvP again after having done the essence grinds last expansion. I’ve geared via the vault and maybe some of the missing slots will get some help with aid of this new valor system, providing I get the drops again in the first place to upgrade, but I wont hold my breath.
