I am really loving my resto shaman again, and decided to give him a proper go in 8.3. Though I must say, i am very worried about the essences needed to play him to at least heroic level raiding, mythic 10’s and low ranked pvp. I get that maybe I don’t need the most cutting edge of the essences, but running around with rank 1 essences will just make me feel like not playing.
My hunter has all the major essences it needs at rank 3. Something like 7 of them. This took a LONG time though. I only got R3 condenced life force a month ago… I am feeling really put off by grinding essences. I wish they weren’t a thing, and that we had something similar to legion for character progression or just leave the game how it was before - just the gear grind, with great class design.
So, do i need to do the essence grind? If so, how would I even go about ones like Vitality Conduit and Vision of perfection, and not be behind with everything else?
Vitality conduit = mechagon rep?
Do stuff there, with an emphasis on spare crate aquisition. I might have read somewhere the crates required to buy will be reduced.
Vision or its parts drops from mechagon end of run chest. Since it’s added into m+ I don’t know yet if you can just spam it in one day and farm parts for it, I assume no, but I may be wrong.
Its effect is like 8 seconds or something like that. You have no instants apart from bubble. So, you cast 2-3 spells with 2-3 gcds and that’s it? With only the third one being at 12% increased healing, that is if you get 3 casts off.
I may be wrong but I’ve found that essence much more practical on druid healer, where you can spam rejuvenation on everyone in the time the effect lasts.
The m+ healing essence, idk name, I’ve found that working with priest gameplay much better.
Basically u have to farm the ones u need all over again, they wont give us account wide essences. And u kinda need the essences to be able to keep up with everyone else.
