Are normal dungeons way too easy now?

I fail to see how your point goes against mine.

My problem is that people who fail the super basic stuff can get close to maximum level gear.

What does that have to do with people doing lower keys? I just want a higher difficulty for higher gear.

People don’t even learn until keys on range of 20+

I notice people don’t know position or even what to interrupt, but when they get to keys like 22 they open their eyes. Only because blizzard stops forgive them. You messed? One shot.

If you’re high-geared, normal dungeons can be soloed now. They’re stupidly easy.

And we’re over a year into the expansion so most players are very highly geared.

But a year ago when nobody was highly geared they weren’t stupidly easy. I don’t know if they were tuned exactly right but close enough probably given the wide range of player skill in this game.

Unless we re-tune dungeons every 6 months to account for gearing or scale them based on player item level then this is how it will be.
I don’t like the sound of that myself.

But for those highly geared players who thing that Normals are too easy, it’s great that they have higher difficulties to venture off to.

There is a place in the game for easier modes, for doing quests or for players who have lower skill level.
The Follower dungeons are great here too.

It is called “boosted” baby.

They were boosted through their keys and think that now they have the ilvl and the score they can just wing it. Why ? Because if it happens in normal, HC and lower keys why not in +20’s.

And ofc it is also very simple to hide behind the language barrier.

They will always be easy at the end of an expansion

i beg your pardon. i misinterpreted your goal. I thought you wanted raise the general difficulty of dungeon.

This is just a test post pls ignore me

Point is more that they were never even somewhat challengeing when we leveld the first character in DF; that they’re now a joke for someone in endgame gear is logical.

I see you Gnatze. You popped out of stealth there for just a moment and now we all see you.

Sniff sniff

Mmm and we smell you as well

Tell players to play Era or BC.
Post #2 below shows people don’t really want that. I mean, retail people. Those with skills play classic.

I honestly don’t see the benefit of leveling zerg dungeons, but who am I to judge. I play classic. I enjoy the journey, I’m not here for beating some gold per hour record at level 62.

Oh yes. Account sellers. They want it to be fast.

You can’t learn how to properly play your class until you reach max level because you don’t have all your talent points.

That’s because (many/most) retail people want to get levelling out of the way and get on with endgame content.

As a tank player I have my struggles when I have neither the gear, nor the skill on a fresh 70 char, having a high equipped DPS matched.
In m+ I can avoid highly geared DPS, but in random dungeons I can’t.

So I often wondered if they just could cap the max gear and scale down everything above, similar to TW dungeons.
That would allow them to define a difficulty without having to mind the higher gear and skilled players still have an easy time despite being scaled down.

They have been for a very long time, not just in current expansions.

they are, even m0 dungeons are joke now, you can literally pull whole dung and not wipe, m0-m10 dungs are too easy too, to the point that you still meet players who are above +15 and have no clue about anything

It all comes down to the players.
If they are cordial or not. If they think about others or not.

Yesterday we were in LFR Larodar and one player was AFK, at the starting point.
One of the players in our group, wanted to kick that player, so we could get a new one. He was replied with: “Who cares, it’s just LFR.” A few minutes after, we were all dead.

If things are difficult, people will start losing their temper and kicking people that don’t know the mechanics.
Yesterday a Blood DK, was kicked out of the LFR boss Nymue, because he didn’t knew, he had to wait for the entire group to be there, before he start engaging the trash, that was before the boss. He replied, it was his first time, before he got kicked out.
Tbh, I didn’t knew it either and I’ve done that LFR, multiple times.
After getting killed right at the beginning and before the boss went down on LFR Fyrakk, on my best geared healer, (my BE Paladin, from TBC), I’ve decided to check a YouTube guide from: Team Liquid and I was surprised :hushed: with the amount of one shot mechanics that boss had.

If things are too easy, people will blitz through it, because they can’t be bothered, with others. In my case, when I play TW, as Tank, even though they are easy, I always make sure, the Healer is keeping up and the party is with me.
I don’t like when the Tank goes so far ahead, that when we finally catch up, he’s already inside attacking the boss and we are outside locked out. Or when the party decides to go without the player, that died before the last boss, finishes the dungeon and the other player doesn’t get the dungeon completed or any loot.

You can’t dictate how people should play the game, in the end, unfortunately.

Cheers.

Normal Dungeons too easy 4 patches into the expansion? Surely not.

But should it be between level 60 and 70? 200 itemlevel at the start of the expansion should feel equal to 200 itemlevel in season 4.

All normal, heroic and time walking dungeons must be made for Followers. They are perfect for that. That way everyone who thinks the run is to fast or to slow can just play with AI. Normal dungeons are perfect to be played for Story.
Oxx add to that LFR too and be done.
