Going from here every spender class is “super linear”: rogues, ferals, boomkins, shamans, everything that has to gain something in order to be able to use abilities.
On the topic: I’ve heard as well that retri is in its worst state ever, but I’m more and more tempted to lvl up a lightforged paladin. Although I’m not interested in high end gaming, mostly for RP and story. If you know what your aim is, it can help to decide
It isn’t though, paladin community are just like boomkins community.
Whatever happens it’s terrible and should be changed
Boomies: Boomkin talent tree sucks fix it!
Blizz: Working on it hang on
Boomies: Its terrible, change it back!
Somehow those 2 communities are always unhappy and mad.
(It’s also really hard to make classes with 3 specs properly due to them having a split class talent tree)
Then I’ll go ahead and make a Paladin today (will go Alliance, as I normally play Horde). I just miss the old days, where Paladins were Alliance only and Shaman were Horde only.
I’ll go ret for leveling, but I’ll switch between Holy, if I want those instant queues for the dungeons
Oh really, that’s indeed interesting if tanks are more in need.
I’ll try it out
Paladin is only level 12 at the moment and going through the Legion campaign and enjoying the storyline with the Paladin area/legendary quests.
I’m in no rush to get to 70, so I’ll just enjoy the experience along the way.
(as I can’t reply for some weird reason, I’ll added through an edit to this post)
There we go, he’s now in Dragon Isles.
I still feel a bit squishy at the moment, but hopefully this may change, once I start to get some better gear.
I do like that the skills you unlock through the talents, you actually use. Unlike other classes, where you use maybe a quarter of what you unlock while leveling/speccing.
