Hey I’m leveling a warlock demono, and I spend half the time healing or rezing my pets, they are really squishy, is this normal ?
I have this problem with the voidwalker or the felguard, and their health regen really slowly when out of a fight
All will sounds good when you’ll got “Soul Leech” passive skill.
For the moment, you need to heal it between each fight with “Health Funnel”.
I think the health funnel ability is poorly scaled, it heals quite little in comparison to for example mend pet from hunters and thats a HoT
I’ve never had a problem with it. Just CC into funnel. It heals enough in PVE, unless you’re taking on something silly like a raid or dungeon boss.
Felguard was once a great Pet … but its not anymore … the only reason i decide, that warlock was my way, was because of Felguard … he never did alot of damage, but he was resistent like hell… people just could not kill him period…they ignore him and go for you because they know try to kill the Fel was a haste of time … i dont know if that was good or not but at least i felt respect…now worlock its just a joke.
It’s just the player who’s a joke. Felguard is fine.
No Felguard is to weak, it was once not a good idea to kill the pet. Because it took you to long. That’s what we need again. They want pets to be important, then make them great again. They are killed to fast.
After WoD, Warlock pets got hit by a big nerf. Pre and during WoD, while lvling, you could easily kill strong rares by resummoning your pet over and over. Not only they died slower back then but they also had a very strong aggro holder. Nowadays a single chaos bolt, despite hitting nothing like compared to before, is enough to pull the aggro to yourself.
Thus, in a sense, they are a bit useless. It is also a bit weird that you don’t have an interrupt with voidwalker up and the rare you are attacking casts an annoying spell. Courtesy of Blizzard wanting to make Warlock experience a living hell.
Legion and BFA effectivly killed pets for warlocks.
Blizzard has homogenized pet damage across the board, did something with HP values.
Pre Legion we had 5 our main-prime demons, each had its niche in game.
- Felguard - good basic fighter with AoE capabilities.
- Imp - good ST damage dealer with party/raid utility.
- Felhunter - decent ST damage dealer, with purge and anti magic capabilities.
- Succubus - Great ST damage dealer, with good CC capabilities.
- Voidwalker - Tank with anti-melee capabilities.
Pre MoP we had dedicated talents for specific demons to fit or highlight your playstyle, like
We need such talents back, it was one of the warlock and demo specificaly best parts - ability to use any demon you like for any situation you found yourself in.
We need our demons to be toucher and stronger, they are demons after all, not wolf you tamed in westfall or durotar.
They should bring back GoSup, that was a really good talent choice
Ha yes i forgot the AoE … realy like that, the fact you could pull 3/5 mobs without concern …now im a healer for my Void…with just one.
