Are the loot boxes you can give to alts rigged?

I seem to get an absolutely ABSURD amount of cloaks from them.

I think it’s just random. I bought 8 boxes for an alt and got stuff for 7 different slots. Friend of mine bought four and got four rings.

I doubt it’s random.

Some days ago I bought 8 boxes, got 6 cloaks.

Then I bought 5 pvp boxes, got 3 cloaks.

Then I bought some more boxes just now, 6 more boxes and got 5 cloaks.

The probability of this happening is just so absurdly low that it’s pretty much impossible it’s random.

But why would it just happen to you and not me also? I’d me ticked off if that happened to me, so I don’t blame you.

That doesn’t mean there’s not something fishy going on with them.

Do you realize just how absurdly low the probability of getting that many cloaks is?

It’s the same in all Blizzard games, so many things happening that has a ridiculously low probability of happening and yet keeps happening, over and over. I’ve never seen anything like it in other games.

If you have a M+ rating of 1000 on a character, you can buy lootboxes with champion gear from the M+ key panda lady in Valdrakken. Each warbound box costs 350 flightstones.

Did it some time ago got 1 trinket 1 helm 1 gloves and then the same exact trinket, seems random to me

At one point I sent like 4 of those to my priest and he got 4 of the same sword out of them.
