Are there many 'mythic noobs' who don't understand TW?

Like this one just now, after already having struggled with a bugged system.
Eye of Azshara.
Heroic+mythic geared DK tank pulls all trash in the way to first boss while I as healer announce I don’t heal as shaman often, need to get into it again. But it wouldn’t have made a difference because in the huge pile of trash around boss, a massive lightning hits me and kills me instantly. Group wipes shortly after.

After this debacle and the boss now being very easy because the trash mobs are mostly dead, after that fight the DK tank continues to ride through big-time trash that hexes me as healer so I arrive roughly 30 seconds late to the party. Shield oracle is dead, tank pulls all trash to next boss, and there’s strong wind almost all the time that doesn’t allow staying on land and moves me out of healing range even in ghost wolf form, and casting heals also doesn’t work while running. One by one everybody is dying, just trying to stay alive in the big pile of chaos summoned by the tank with the learning disability. I decided to leave at that point. Second queue timeout today, due to a bug.

dont know if u troll or just try but dont understant u heve so much troubol dungen like all my tw always smoot alteast smoot rendom dungen group go

you can die in tw?
i basically soloed eye of aszhara on my tank because the dds got lost i dont know where.

you really do not a healer at all in tw.
but sure if you have those potato dps like i do sometimes that have like 300 dps, i can see tbat i spells disaster if your tank is also ultra garbanzo

The group I had on next try, same dungeon, was absolutely a walk in the park. It shows just how insanely messed up some people are. Especially if they still don’t learn after a wipe. They’re like a broken bot AI for solo content stumbling into a dungeon.

If I didn’t know humankind so well, I would actually assume it might have been a bot.

if the tank do not keep the aggro of the mobs, and pulls to much you will wipe even in tws.

The problem is that tanks can solo these and sometimes act like they are the only one in the dungeon. That’s not what tanks are supposed to do, so that’s a huge fail in my opinion.

Tank self-healing is just too strong. This results in stupid stuff like tanks farming Nokhudon hold to boost lower level characters who just sit on a hut roof and watch while their levels go up.

Blizzard: Give tanks mitigation and maybe a few healing cooldowns that they can use when the healer is incapacitated, but don’t allow them to be completely independent of the healer. That way they’ll actually care if the rest of the group is keeping up & alive and that will result in a much better experience for everyone.

no a bot actually would pull better numbers.
it is insane how people can do 300 dps.
my autoattacking hunter does more dps without even using any skill.

as tank i pull 2.5k-3k dps
good dps are also above 3k dps
and then you have people way below 1k, you wonder how that even is possible unless you are afk.

the reason i play tank in tw is that i can guarantee a quick run, even if I have to solo the whole dungeon it is more or less quick. Bosses take a while as solo tank though

Pretty much this: If you go as the tank, you can decide the pace. TW is a breeze, so you just pull everything you can get away with into one pull and AoE.

Now to OPs post - if you see a DK tank, you don’t think “Oh I need to heal that guy.”, you should think “Ok, he will need an external on pull, after that it is just passive healing for you my boy.” How a BDK managed to wipe surprises me, yet - he is also a HC BDK (so probably doesn’t know how the spec works really).

  • As a healer, a BDKs healthbar is not your problem at all. You only care about Runic Power, if he got above 40, he will top himself no matter what. If you don’t want to, just dont worry about it. He will live, and if he died… not your fault.

You didn’t have to leave, as you don’t have to heal. If DPS dies, it is their fault. In TW anything but a hunter can always keep themselves alive (other in the most outlandish scenarios). So you should’ve just chugged along keeping yourself alive, doing some happy frost shocks, pop heroism and drop spiritlink once in a while.

If the BDK does want to masspull - and you don’t want none of that, just hide behind a pillar as he goes to town. If he dies, he dies. Enjoy some Heartstone on your phone! :+1:

get good simple thet tank cen solo it just deal it let him do all work you enjoh ride

The issue being that most of the time they do absolutely insanely large pulls but don’t maintain aggro on even 1/4 of what they have pulled and then rage at the healer when people die as a result
I feel like sometimes, someone saw their favourite streamer pull like this and thought that it would be a great idea to copy that. If you can keep aggro on all of the stuff you pull, then its a great idea, otherwise, there is no shame in pulling smaller packs… unless you have the ‘gogogogog’ DPS in your group pulling anything and everything for you… but that’s a different matter/story entirely.

Yeah, sadly people don’t know to wait until the tank has gathered the pull before they start, so they start peeling mobs from the pack and things go south fast.

Then of course you got the healer and DPS running away from the tank, instead of into the tanks zone of control. Yeah… yeah. Messy, messy stuff.

Are we going to design tanks around TW?
dude failed because he can’t keep up that’s all
and your deduction was to nerf tanks
