I started playing 2 weeks ago and I noticed similar pattern of some players and I think these are bots. I want you to hear oppinions from you:
- Auto accepting invites for groups during leveling
- Never accept invites for groups
- Never talks, no reply, nothing
- Almost instant turns/shots/attacks on mob respawns
- Usually no eating, stopping, regenerating, constantly running around and attacking mobs.
I saw one hunter in duskwood cemetery yesterday - constantly cheetah mode, tagging every mob and tried to solo Mor’Ladim and ofc died. Probably script coldn’t tell what is what.
Ofc I always report them no matter what will Blizzard do.
Hunter is the favorite bot class so usually if the pet hasn’t been renamed and the player has a weird name as if someone just bashed his head on the keyboard, you can be pretty sure it’s a bot. All the more if they act mechanically/weirdly and don’t communicate.

99% of hunters are bots so you were probably right.

Your in for a treat OP
Wait till you get to searing gorge and you see trains of them running in to BRD from the flight path
If your not sure where BRD is follow either the bots that are alive and running or the line of skeletons pointing the way.
There’s some bots that go to the right of the map and do a jump hack through the mountain and I think it must land them in BRD? not sure tbh but fun to watch, couldn’t do it myself they must do something fancy
Their gear is usually terrible, and nothing from a dungeon.
Once your finally at the BRD entrance you can sit and listen to the sweet music of constant whistling hunters, entering/exiting the instance as you wait for the rest of your team to arrive.
I considered reporting, but thought why bother spending the time?
If blizz can’t see these blatantly obvious bots and remove them on a daily /hourly basis instead of several months then they accept them as part of their game.
I just try ignore them best I can, people need cheap gold though, they don’t want to spend hours grinding gold when they can buy more than they can grind for a few squid
Many want to play this game but dont want to put the time in that is needed to farm things, easier to just swipe your card buy some cheap bot gold then buy some bot items of AH.
It’s a bot world
Like 95% of hunters are bot.
So if the pet name is default and they don’t reply to mu question, I auto report them.
I got the respond, they banned some of them. Took a screenshot for a memory.
Nice, I will countinue to do more.
