Are we getting new remix for the upcomming summer?

I liked Pandaria remix, it was a fun refresher to the game and it was completely different (well it got a bit borring in the emd when Turbo DH was running at 500km/h and 1shoting bosses).

Do you think we will get another one for this summer?

Need another remix genuinely the most fun I had in wow for ages, also was a great way to level some alts

Legion Remix is next and probably part of 11.2.7.

We’re getting one near the end of the year. So no, I don’t.

Hope so. I’m really looking forward to seeing what transmog will be available. Also interested to see how they’ll go about mage tower if they’re going to make us super powerful again.

I wouldn’t expect the mage tower back. They didn’t give us Challenge Modes in Pandaria either.

Where did you read that?

I wish they’d treat Timewalking weeks like remix. That would be amazing.

Going on a tangent regarding Legion Remix: Since it will arrive with 11.2.7 the earliest of which is November 2025 according to the Roadmap, and assuming it will last 93 days or so as MoP Remix lasted, and also assuming that Legion Remix will not run parallel to the 12.0.2 patch (but it can overlap with the prepatch), does this give us an insight that the earliest we will have the Midnight expansion will be in late February or March 2026? Which again brings up 2 possible scenarios for The War Within, if the before assumption is true:

  • If there is no Season 4, will Season 3 run for 8 months instead of the usual 6?
  • If there is a Season 4, will it last for only 2 months?

Or another possibility that’s ‘new’.

But… If they fill the tail end of s3 with stuff like Remix and housing and such, I’m fine with it.

Because it isn´t enough of a clownshow already?

Seriously, timewalking is the easiest of easymodes, the power levels of remix would be a complete waste in that setting because everything already falls over before you can even finish your opener.

In another thread a few months ago I supported the idea that Midnight would be coming around May-June 2026. That would give both Season 3 and Season 4 a 5-month duration, as well as a healthy 3-week prepatch. If Housing arrived at Season 4 of TWW instead of Season 1 of Midnight, and considering it’s going to be one of the most complex systems with its own bugs and problems (housing systems always are, they require entirely unique interface), it would be “wiser” to have the majority and most severe of those problems ironed out during the lull of TWW than during the “boom” period of Midnight.

Legion Remix was in the talks a few months back. I hope we get it, good expansion.

At this rate I think you will resub back before your refugee status is revoked by blizzard

My gut feeling says probably in august 2026

During Shadowlands or Dragonflight, Blizzard expressed that they wanted expansions to be coming at a faster rate than the usual 2-year gap they used to. They managed that with Dragonflight which lasted 21 months (2022-11-28 to 2024-08-23). Assuming that TWW will last 21 months, that brings the release of Midnight around 2026-05-20. That’s why I initially supported the idea of Midnight arriving around May-June 2026. But we know that Blizzard will try to undercut this; by how much only they know so far, and anyone who has some leaked information.

(Yes, I am using YYYY-MM-DD notation above so that we don’t mix up dates in case some use dd/mm/yyyy and some mm/dd/yyyy  )

The only good thing about legion was the story , m+ and the pre patch event with demons invading azeroth where you could level alts and catch up gear.
I did not liked the weapon fragment farm where you was limited to one spec till the end if otherwise you had to spend 8+ hours every day to have all spec weapons to max.

That is true

Oh yeah, for sure. That’s why its on the roadmap where it is.

But my point was, is that there could be another option that we just don’t know about yet. Maybe there is no extended s3 and no s4, but something different altogether.
