Are we really giving Priests a glide, double jump and 2 interrupts?

I can understand the interrupts (even though I would’ve rather seen the Priest itself get some interrupt, not a race giving them), but the glide + double jump?

Do you think it is normal for a Priest (and mage, warlock, warrior) to glide and double jump mechanics (m+ / raid) as if they are Demon Hunters?

Are they keeping these movement abilities to a no-cd extent? I mean how can they even readjust these racials.

This is a open discussion but please keep it normal, not here to argue! Just to hear opinions.

What are you yapping about, what did i miss…

Dracthyr can now be priest/mage/warrior/warlock/rogue lol

It does feel strange, I’ve been goblin for years specifically because my class cannot handle knockbacks. Going from a 90s cd on that to no cd feels a little absurd.

Or is bliz just openly telling us they’re never adding knockback mechanics to end tier bosses again? Since the result of such a thing is everyone who can’t already immune it just goes dracthyr.

Yeah, I understand you. I even checked the intro quests for Priests for example and it makes the less sense.

I dont know why they had to throw Priests in there, I’m unsure if they really won’t add knockback mechanics to end tier content, I honestly don’t even know if they were thinking about the Dracthyr abilities before deciding which class should play it.

We’ll see tho. It will be very competitive for sure in M+ content. Maybe night elf will prevail again with other dungeons. Who knows!

If they hadn’t then there’d be outrage. Mobility creep this expansion has been insane and priest once again got absolutely nothing because being immobile is it’s “fantasy” or whatever. That was fine when mobility in general was lower, priest was like a 2 and mage was a 5 and that was it.

Now outlaw rogue is a 9, DH is an 8, warrior is a 6, mage is a 7, DK is a 4, Lock is a 4, Shaman is a 4, Monk is a 7, and Priest is STILL a 2.

This is a class issue turning into a race issue. Having Dracthyr as an option will not fix anything. They would most likely plainly remove gliding from all classes except Evoker, and give Evoker a class talent point. That’s the only thing that makes sense.

I agree that it is a race issue at this point. Such mobility cannot be given freely.

I hope this was not their idea to give priest mobility. Priest needs its own rework. Not a race change.

Class rework costs the company money, while race change costs you money. The company profits from race changes. Do the math.

But all jokes aside, I’m puzzled by this too.

All racials should be disabled in PVP
Only movement, stun interrupt should come from your class and even then some of them should be disabled
PVP is not fun because people can easily run away or lock you out of playing for a long time…
game should be more swift and less CC oriented

Oh, i saw that now, that is interesting, but i think some of their racials is specifically only for evokers and won’t be available for the other classes, outside of the knockup or whatever it is.

They will make you pay for a race change, then nerf the movement later on. Then make you pay again to race change back

Have you ever played Dracthyr? Double jump is restricted to Demon Hunter.

y, that is just bonkers, every competitive player of those classes will swap to dracthyr outside of very specific dwarf/nightelf scenarios. Double Jump is waay too strong to be independent of the Spec (nevermind 2 extra cc on a different dr for PvP, which also seems like a nightmare).

My opinion is that the Drakthir race was a mistake. Especially Aug. But Pres wasent a good option either because its a budget shaman. The only thing not making it a carbon copy of a shaman is the fact that it has range limitations.

And now with racials… well… racials should not be that powrfull. And if they are, they should have a 2 min CD atleast. Like all the rest.

What were they expecting ? Goblins have a mobility as well and it got heavily nerfed because everyone rerolled Goblin. So to be fair, I also expect them to nerf the double jump and hover.
