The only way to make blizzard know its a bad design. Is by not participating in it.
If they see that nobody actually plays whatever it is you have to do to get it… then they wont do it anymore.

Got mine first try today, what’s all the fuss about?
grats some ppl are using 8+ toons since day 1 and still havent seen it.
At any drop % I only farm stuff I really want and intend to use. The last thing I farmed was the green and red raptor cat travel form and I haven’t stopped using it since I got it.
Before that it was Runebear. Which I also haven’t stopped using.
So 3 chances per day per character. Thats a lot.
So one can care even less? Gotcha.
Some people like the farm. It is what it is.
What with people hating low drop rate mount in a mmo recently? It’s part of the game. Get a grip
while i like the farm yes imo there should be limits
I have already lost my motivation to farm anything in this game. Recolor on the back of recolor and some have quite absurd expectations.
It can be the easiest job in the world for a small indie like Blizzard.
Is it really? If someone’s doing all 3 dailies on, for example, two characters (main + alt) every day, with the current drop rate, they’re looking at around 21 days of attempts on average.
And since RNG doesn’t always play fair, to have a 90% chance of actually seeing the mount drop, you’d need around 287 attempts, which is about 48 days of farming every single day on two characters. And even then, there’s still a 10% chance you’d still have nothing to show for it. That’s not even counting people who’ve already gone 300+ attempts without seeing it, which is actually happening. That means if someone only has two characters, they could potentially be looking at over 400 attempts and over 60 days of farming.
Doesn’t seem like a lot of chances? Does it?
Im not sure i trust that droprate %, maybe my friends are just lucky but in the last 2 days 3 of my friends got the mount.
I’m at over 150 attempts at the moment. It is definitely close to the drop rate of the Dauntless Lynx, which is 0,6%.
Many people were celebrating early drops back then as well and people who suggested low drop rate were actually getting heavily downvoted on Wowhead.
Are you collecting for yourself or others? If it’s for yourself, it should not matter that other players don’t share your interest.
If you collect for others to look up to you, I agree you might be out of luck. I think a lot of people with a few years on their back has decided on a “if I get it, I get it. If not, whatever” approach. The latter will likely not know the source or difficulty of getting your mount. Or even it’s name.
i get that but its always been like this, i feel like blizzard is punishing for wanting to collect mounts, it doesn’t seem to be this bad for toys and pets
no one forces u to collect mounts
Can I rub you for luck or something!
Right, except this is a game that literally has a whole Collections tab, mount achievements, and rewards for getting more mounts. It’s clearly meant to encourage collecting, at least for a certain group of players. With over 1,000 mounts in the game, it makes sense that some of us want the system to feel fair and engaging, especially after 20 years.
I wouldn’t object to the drop being higher but it’s early days so I’ll see how it works out when the event has been up a while.
Sure! Just heard today that another friend got it last night on his first trip there
Yes it is. For a rare mount anyway. You arent supposed to get every mount for free.
Welcome to RNG. Don’t care.
While I do agree that rare thinks can and should be rare something’s are ridiculous.
Like my example of over 1000 trys for the strat mount.
That’s a point where it does not feel good anymore
