Are WoW players too entitled?

People posting on these forums are paying customers, they’re literally entitled to give their feedback.

Don’t call something a challenge if it’s not actually a challenge.

This reasoning is weak at best.

Just because life isn’t fair doesn’t mean we should be okay with unfair things we can change. If everyone just threw their hands in the air and said “oh well life isn’t fair” we wouldn’t have access to name changes, race changes, faction changes and server transfers for our characters. Yea some of the newer players may not know this but once upon a time those were entirely unavailable to us.

Maybe I should complain to “God” that he made me autistic and that’s “not fair”. I want to speak to the manager because “It’s not fair that everyone else got to be normal except me”.

You see how ridiculous that argument is… It sounds like their real problem is with God for being born later.

But there is imo a big difference between feedback and complaining.

When you call the company or the game bad instead of arguing for your case, its not constructive.

You can set up an argument as to why you feel like its a bad effect that something is being removed or isn’t equally obtainable by all.

Please tell me where I call MoP a challenge?

But thats a kicker tho isn’t it? Because those services are actually locked behind a pay wall… That I do believe is actually unfair. If you have the money, you can race change for the racial ability every season / patch… If you dont have the money, well sucks to be you  So that argument is a bit interesting for me.

You were literally talking about:

In your opening post. The challenge mode sets from MoP are no longer obtainable. They were not challenging to obtain.

You then went on to state:

I see no reason why they should not be obtainable by people, considering how much of a joke they actually were.

Not in games that require the assistance of others.

Do you want the mount from M+, well I’m not going to invite you because, even though your raider IO is high, it’s not high enough.

I get to gatekeeper you, nice game, right?

I wouldn’t care. I don’t look at other people. I can’t really explain it further than that.

Look, I know that people of your generation believe that but take it from me, an older millennial because I had to go through this as well as I got older.

You are not special, you do not deserve special treatment for existing. Some things are going to be unfair and you lack the power to change it.

I am not arguing that some things need to change, they do, but this is the most ridiculous hill to die on, don’t you think? You do not need to act like a Karen to get what you want. You should choose your battles better I think right?

I would like not to have Dyspraxia and be one of the best PvE raiders on my server… its never going to happen because I have this disability. Should I write to “God” and state that its unfair and I deserve better?

Please read my entire message and not just take a snipbit and conclude

“A seasonal challenge” never mentioned which. I was talking in general terms. And regardless of how much of “a joke” you think they were, a challenge can still be, a challenge for the general player base.

Again, if you’re just here to add snarky comments, uplifting yourself then I’m done

I would say thats a bit far fetched. Because by the premise of your logic, noone would obtain the mount as noone would do it. Thats not how humans interact. We have our own interest higher (in most cases), and therefor people without the mount would probably que up for M+ to try and get it resulting in more and more getting it.

But of course, if you feel like you deserve to play with people that already has it, then sure… But then you kind of go against the spirit of the game right?

You’re still saying:

MoP challenge modes were a joke. The sets should be obtainable by anyone. There’s no reason they shouldn’t be.

Bruh I’m 39.

That’s true! That’s why I think everyone should be able to obtain everything in the game no matter when they start playing! No one is special for having an old reward!

I’m a Karen because I would like other people to be able to enjoy a set of gear I already own? I think you don’t know what a Karen is.

It was literally its in game name “challenge mode”

There is a difference between life giving you lemons, as it so often does, which is out of anyone’s control and a game. It’s a game. For fun. Why limit it? There isn’t really a reason. We are limited enough by what life deals us.

Doesn’t matter. It was called a “Challenge”. Your own opinion of how easy it was, has no relevance. But okay, Im done with you as I don’t think you add anything useful and we’re going in loop. Thanks

Oh, right, I forgot to put you on ignore again. Didn’t actually read what you posted.

Done. Bye again.

Could you virtue signal any harder? Most normal people just ignore, no need to make performance art of it.

Holy moly, im an older millenial aswell but you have some serious boomer logic, fueled by hate and disregard for others.

“Just because I had to deal with it you do too!!111”

Christ I am so glad I don’t have this mentality or attitude to others.

I honestly wouldnt bother with that poster they are argumentative by nature and always take the AH attitude with everyone.

But what about the portion of players that find “fun” in competing? Do you think people would do mage towers, gladiator attempts, RBG runs, if the common sense was “Well it is a game afterall, therefor if you dont get it now, in the future we will just give it to you” ?
