Are you guys going to do something about spam in сhat?

Spam is coming to my server with messages about the sale of raids/keys/lvl up etc
25 active bots without interruption.
However, the blacklist is not enough, the limit has been reached.
Any reports the spam don’t work.

I don’t mind that people earn money by exchanging this gold through gray schemes for real money, but the limit of arrogance must be set.

I tried the global ignore list addon, but it breaks the chat, and my messages may also not be sent.
Maybe there’s a better way?

Reports do work as is evident from players complaining that Blizzard action them on the collective CS forums.

If you see them please continue the reporting and action may be eventually taken, thank you!

I don’t really see spam, by advertising bots and such, while using the BadBoy addon.

There’s numerous modules for it as well as a blacklist filter to block anything containing words you listed.

If it all comes from the Trade (Services) chat, simply untick it from the channels list. That channel is responsible for more than 99% of all chat messages in the game

Like exiasee said, just untick the services channel and you wont see the spam. No need to have it enabled unless you are looking to buy boosts.

Individuals and guilds selling boost or assistance in raiding, dungeon, or PvP activities for gold is allowed but can only be advertised in-game through the Trade Services chat channel. Advertising for gameplay activities should be done by a WoW player-character who intends to participate in the gameplay activities. This means there should be no cross-realm advertising, and there should be no advertising from non-participating players.

Bu-u-u-ut… every time, when i shift-click on one of the spammers - its often Pandaren DK 10 lvl or any other lowlvl character. Pandaren DK is just convenience, quick start and teleport to the capital, so, if you see DK colored nickname in service chat - its most likely a spammer.
I just impressed how bold those spammers are, there is clear statement about this in ToS.

is that in tradechat / gerneral or is it in the service chat that is made for those ppl?

personally i turned off the service chat on all my chars
