Are you guys remembering any of Dragonflight zones?

I feel like I am always flying so fast, all dragon isles seem blurry and I can’t remember anything. Before DG I played Legion and I remember every inch of that island.

Yes, albeit they are all kinda the same.

Waking Shores: Canada with a lava bit

Ohnaran Plains: Canada with some prairie

Azure span: Snowy Canada

Thaldrazus: Rocky Canada

Yeah, pretty well except Thaldrazsus because it’s worse than highmountain on the ground.

You have a strange way of spelling Australia.

Yes
Yes I can remember the zones, what is where, where I can find my favorite gathering spots/routes, rares, usually an expedition pack where tend to spawn, quick WQs or just enjoy the beauty of the area

Mostly yeah, except for the Azure Span where I spend most of my time looking out for trees rather than at the terrain.

I explored them fully with my drake, mining pick and herbalism spade.
Valuable resources in the world is the best way to incentivize exploration

I feel as dislocated from the world as I did in Shadowlands, the zones feel equally disjointed to me.
This is because I’m terrible at Dragonriding so I don’t use it as a means of getting around. I use regular Flightmasters and then dragon ride (badly) to where ever I’m trying to get to.
The zones are too big and there are too many mountains. I wouldn’t attempt to travel anywhere by ground mount.

This is mostly a me problem though I realise. My old pc hardware and poor eyesight a major factors.

yeah i do except thaldrazus. Mostly because compared to other zones there are way less quests there or things of importance besides the whle tyr thingy

Nope, because it’s a fast paced flight simulator.

I don’t have an issue remembering the zones myself. They all have their own flavour and they were made larger to make dragon riding worthwhile and effective.

I travel more via flightpaths myself as DR makes me motion sick.

barely member the names, theres not a single story character that i know or care for tho…
all i know is theres dragons and none of my actual mount dragons know how to fly like a dragon…

I’ve levelled my main + 5 alts largely in Warmode, often looting dirt, packs and chests for sparks, and must have done every open-world quest at least twice. Plus I opened a lot if tackleboxes after discovering they can contain the coins needed for the Otto mount. So, yes, I definitely do feel like I know the zones well. I prefer them to SL zones, but still think the BfA zones are better.

I fly around them for fun when I’m bored so yeah, I know them all pretty well.

Pretty much yeah.

I’m not sure that would still be the case if I could hang around Valdrakken without making my computer explode though.

The Azure Span has very quickly become one my favourite zones ever. So that’s certainly memorable to me.

you remember them much better then i do.

for me its .

zone 1 - green with little bit lave and snow.
zone 2 - booooring green empty plains
zone 3 - autumn forest ?
zone 4 - some time related boring zone - cant remeebr already hit max level and was spaming dungeons.

overall wasted resources - for first time in forever art team really failed like rest of teams.

to big to boring to slow no action .

overall one of worst leveling experiences since vanilla.

thank god leveling through dungeon spam was very effective this expansion .

Yeah I remember them… Waking shores was the biggest exploration zone of them all. Finding new caves with hidden Djaradin paintings in em. And new flora and the likes of that Shadowlands really lacked. Felt like I was in a World again that at least tried to be a world for those who cared for such. And I just really came to appreciate colors again xD Not everything looking the same everywhere and everywhere you go.

It felt like a part of Azeroth that I wished the rest of the world could give the same level of exploration and discovery feeling as.

Ohn’ara plains, Felt like it tried to be Nagrand to me. From the first TBC game. But now with some Hemmet Nessingawry like questlines. With the Centaur clan war and story ontop.

The Azure span was the greatest one for me. It felt and sounded like by its soundtrack the closest to the Grizzly hills from Wrath of the lich king. But it was much waster and larger to explore…

But of course if your one who don’t care for all of these things. Wast explorations and world detail. It probably all flew over your heads doing Zoomies on your dragon riding mounts.

I know Dragonflight sucks. All posetives bad. Give back slow stale static flying plszomg.

(Before you come at me. Yes I know Hemmet appeared in the Azure span. But I expected and thought he would of appeared in the Ohn’ahran zone! It would have been the perfect zone to expect him in!)

The order of zones in which I frequent

Ohn’ahran plains: Love this zone, reminds me of Mulgore or Nagrand. Big open steppes is always a win for me.

Azure Span: I like this zone alright, it’s got Howling Fjord vibes to it. Which was a decent zone, just not as cool as Grizzly Hills was.

Waking Shores: Eh, very mid zone for me. Reminds me of Molten Front from Firelands. It’s magma and dragons.

Thaldrazus (not including Valdrakken): I don’t think I could name you a single place in this zone or a single memorable quest here, except for the Chromie ones. The Primalist Future had potential, but it was just too repetitive and not fun.
