You are not locked out of Dragonflight. You are not locked out of Dragonflight dungeons.
But you are locked out of the LFD matchmaking queue for Dragonflight, because you are above the maximum level.
That’s not new. Ever since there has been LFD, there has been a level range associated with each dungeon you can queue for. I well remember having to do Utgarde Keep many times in a row because it was the only Wrath dungeon available in LFD at … 68? 69? something like that. And then it was The Nexus. And then, to everyone’s vast relief, we were in level range for other dungeons.
I do appreciate the problem, though. You have options, but they aren’t great. You can walk into the dungeon and solo it, which you probably can on a Tank if youi have decent gear, or you can find someone else to party with, or you can get a couple of more levels first to make it easier.
I’d probably just keep questing along other zones and questchains to get some levels, then go back to solo it.
I haven’t played WoW seriously since before TBC, whilst I’ve popped in and out once or twice in the following years, I’ve never been pulled in sufficienctly to really bother doing dungeons or raids since AQ40 and Naxx so this feels like a whole new game to me lol
It’s a shame, if I’d have known I’d have been more careful, but thought nothing of it. I wanted to see how it all played out!
I’m playing a Mage with no skill whatsoever, so soloing isn’t really an option for me. I’ll figure something out, maybe just level an alt.
