I got some gear for arena now and ended up with a feral druid, as an SP.

Feral/SP just isn’t really that good unfortunately, so you’re likely not winning vs either of those comps
2v2 is quite limited after you reach 1000 rating. You will see more and more meta combos instead of meme combos.
For the sake of your own mental health I’d recommend you to roll disc or your friend to roll resto.
In 2’s, on TBC Classic, is Disc better than Holy? As on Retail Holy > Disc on Arena.
Disc is better in PvP for sure. I’ve seen some Holy priests in PvP and they melt like butter.
Yes, holy is completely unviable while disc is very very strong

the answers beforehand are all acurate, meta combos are everywhere and take most fun out of arenas… BUT it depends a lot at what time and what days u play. if u play on weekends at prime time u will get a lot more fun matches than playing on wednesday noon for example
