Are more people having issue’s getting past 1500 rating now?
Is arena 80% pvp GODS and 20% the rest now or something?
I have always breezed till 1800-1900 rating.
But im getting owned hard on 1500 rating now.
I’m getting outplayed so hard its unbelievable.
Strange thing: on 1400 rating they are keyboardturning.
There seem to be a insane gap from 1400+ and 1500+
Feels always hard in LFG tbh.
You can thank tier sets for that. The game would have been way more enjoyable if they disabled them in PvP and only let double legendaries work. Now you have to fight a player + RNG procs + passive damage increases. Very little to do with player skill this season, even less than the meme of last season.
I wonder why the Blizzard devs are so * useless.
Back in the days, you could:
Craft pvp base sets. Enjoy doing bgs because the item level was set to be similar.
In tbc, having decent gear plus some gladiator items in s2 could make you have an impact in bgs.
Now:
If you are not mythic god geared, you will be oneshot while trying to gear up pvp gear. Also, it takes forever to gear up. Rank 7/7 set gear costs like 3k honor each and you get like 150 honor for an epic bg win after you won the first one. Why the * does it take so * long to get pvp base gear.
I spent like a week doing epic bgs and my alts barely got half their * pieces in 7/7 upgraded base gear, despite winning alot.
Also, having this monkey 7/7 set will still result in quick deaths. Even in this gear, you will feel useless in pvp. If you do random bgs, you wont be able to do anything against 4 tier set people because they will laugh at you and two shot you.
Double legendary, half 7/7 and half conquest gear and you will die in two hits vs a feral druid btw. What the * is this balance?
I wanted to get in to rated bgs again. Even try being serious in arena for the first time. But if I * die in a second with versa I dont want to play this game.
Btw, I mentioned I play tbc pvp too. I can actually do decent pvp gear while I have gear on that doesnt take days to get.
So basically, Shadowlands pvp is far more garbage utter sh*t than TBC pvp. I thought with so many years and experience, things would improve? Are the Blizzard devs really this useless and clueless?
Why should I try to do pvp when I see people in full 7/7 honor, some conquest and 2x legendaries with versa enchants get two shot by feral druids, mm hunters, destro locks and rogues?
Hell no, I am not going to spend any time on this trash game anymore. Maybe when SOM tbc comes. But retail can go and die. I wont get Dragonflight.
To be honest, blizzard have accepted that the current system is terrible and needs to go. Thus the rating is pretty becoming purely cosmetic based and not required in dragonflight.
This means that most probably wont do arena unless they really enjoy it, which is a good thing as arena pvp isnt fun for most i dont think and never has been.
Those who enjoy can play it and those who dont wont be punished gear wise for not playing it
rating is 400 cr lower than previously so if u were 2k last season its 1600 now.
since 4 sets came out its mainly not fun anymore to play it because of random 1 shots
or when a dk with his demon zergs you dead trough 80% damage reduction.
its just a gamble you can get fun games against warrior/healer or you end up wasting 2 minutes to see you team mate died instant in a sap against 2 dps 4 sets
I’m not even wondering why 9.2 is hard because playerbase chose to play Hunters and Priests in general because these both classes are broken and Hunter pvp talents are removing anything from bleeds to magical effects and it’s not only Legendary Craven Stratagem which is doing this. Survival Hunter have Mending Bandage a top of this sweet cake which makes them to storm through ladder. No pun intended but 2 best pvp talents a top of a Legendary removing dot’s with short cd, think of UH dk removing bleeds with just using Lichborne. Yeah you got that right. Absolutely unstoppable then.
I use to average 1800 every season up until this one, Basically the game has gotten so bad that the players actually playing is at an all time low and most of the are veteran players (2k+)
Also this whole 1 shot meta is pure aids, Playing holy paladin and resto druid i spend most of my games constantly mashing heals just to survive a single dps attacking me or my partner, Lost countless games where someone has died on the enemy team only for the last guy to stun me and global my partner with some special needs 1 shot spell.
I really did try to enjoy pvp this season and get into it but i just couldnt, Played 100 games on both my toons in 2v2 and would honestly rather sit down and pluck each and every hair from my scrotom with a pair of plyers than play any more arena games this season, And if your not enjoying games then what is the point ?
Take your money elsewhere, This trash game and company dont deserve it.

The average person in arena is just amazing at the moment.
It has nothing to do with gear / classes / oneshots etc.
Its just verry hard to get good practise in.
on 1400 mmr I can fight a keyboard turner that does not know that stuns have a DR.
The next game im facing what feels like a pvp god team countering / predicting everything i do.
I also noticed the average honorlevel in BG’s is verry high.
I guess only the hardcore wow players are playing atm.
Trying to learn now is going to be a bad time.
Worst feeling what I sometimes get in this season - I could not do nothing better there, nothing to learn from this lose, that backpedaling fella just 2 shot me through my overlapped defensives ect.
i disagree most tier sets make the class feel alot better in my opinion. Only problem is that some tier sets are terrible for pvp while others are a huge buff.
dont buy honor gear. Farm conquest in solo shuffle and buy either conquest boxes or conquest pieces from.
Atleast in SL you dont need any pve at all to get your gear. Also i did like 10 battlegrounds in whole shadowlands and i geared like 5 characters every season so you must be doing something wrong.
I never want to go back to tbc pvp gearing. Pve gear, battleground grind, gold grind etc. its just terrible.
what random oneshots are you talking about for example? can you give me an example?

Honestly, no. At least it is not harder than in the other SL seasons. They are all comparable in regards to the pace, just different meta specs.
Pvp just so bad every casual player left. Only sweaty neckbeards left in arena playing the same 4 classes lol.
example - warrior charge on me 1 hit, second hit Im dead. 2 globals, recently happened. I think that war was fury night fae oddly, I did rage quit did not check properly what happened.
I agree I could do better, positioning can be better so he/she could not charge.

I don’t think it is too hard, I came 2 weeks ago and already full gear sitting at 2k. Slowly climbing intentionally because I don’t wanna feel like I have to grind honor whole day. Also playing Arms to make it more enjoyable, if I go furry spec it won’t be fair for people 
mine hunter alt got at 14cr on 80k hp and 40% versa just instant 1 shotted by some 4 set shaman after that i just quitted to play arena this season.
game is more fun to play pvp in bgs or world pvp anyway.
specially in the old zones with the heart of azeroth i have 103k hp so they can not 1 shot there
