Was the rating system changed with cata? I feel like it was super hard to reach 2200. In s5 for example they did some changes to it ? For example i was around rank 3000/3500 on 2200+ rating every season. Now i’m rank1500 on 1.9 and feels imposible to reach 2200rating

S6, S7 and half of s8 had inflation, s9 doesnt, just like s5. The cutoff difference between s5 (no inflation) and s6 (inflation) is insane, 2100 s5 duelist compared to 2700 s6 duelist.
Even though s5 had no inflation, atleast with fresh wotlk the game was hyped and a lot of ppl played, right now you have no inflation AND way less players than in s5.
Wouldnt be surprised if we see a 2k duelist cutoff by the end of the season which makes 2.2 much harder to get than it was in the inflated wotlk seasons (2,2 wasnt even rival back then).

Exactly shoudnt they change the system according to current state of the game? Or t2 weapon is only for the rank1’s I’m facig,they alts and ppl playing insanly “broken” comps?
