Hello,
Is there a way to start recording (Or auto pressing the start-record keybind) when entering the arena and then stop when leaving it ?
I’m using the Geforce Experience (or OBS) for recording.
Is there a way to listen to zone changes outside wow.
Thank you
I don’t think so but in OBS you can set a keybind to start and stop recording. That’s probably your best bet.
There are ways (addons), in theory, to do that but it is not simple.
Plus I guess that Blizzard API blocks most of the ways to prevent the addon to communicate with external programs/write files on your computer.
Easily? don’t think so.
Your best bet is to probably record in blocks, and then go back afterwards and crop your 1 hour (or however long) recording down into chunks, instead of recording each game separately.
One possible way to do that would be to monitor the log folder, combined with an addon that automatically starts combat logging in arenas.
I think SquadOV (https://www.squadov.gg
) does something similar.
It is however streaming your game and saving your footage on their servers. So keep that in mind.
