Since we can all agree that the participation in 3s has drastically fell during Dragonflight, the 2400 glad mount reward has become way harder to obtain than in Shadowlands, simply because when more people play, there’s more natural rating inflation etc.
However, wouldn’t it be better if they keep the 2400 x50 wins glad reward, and on top of that bring back the % rewards? Say you get 2400 during the season and you win 50 games during it, you get your glad mount instantly, however, for the people who weren’t able to get 2400 and are hardstuck 2100 or 2200, which is probably still around that 1% mark, they get the mount after the season like we used to get them in the past, IF they end up under that 1% .
I think that way there’s no reason for artificial inflation and people wouldn’t be as depressed as they are now if they can’t get close to their previous SL / DF s1 ratings.

In my opinion the 50 wins makes logical sense but is a very annoying extra to getting the achievement. Speaking from the perspective of somebody who has finished a season with 17/50 wins into teammates dissapearing and LFG tanking CR.
I’m fairly confident Blizzard are preparing big changes to PVP systems - for the last patch of DF or maybe for the next expac. This would explain their total silence on MMR and PVP problems as a whole. It’s not working the way it is and they know it, they just want to have a solution first and then talk.
What you’re suggesting is one of the possibilities IMO.

But honestly, I’m not being sarcastic. I’m sure there must be a reason for them not acting. And the only thing that comes to mind is because they want to make an announcement.
Nah it’s a endless circle, every single season and xpac people say the same and nothing is ever better.
It is what it is but people should accept the game will never be more than slightly playable cause there is not enough people working on each part and class like before (and even before I heard the game had os macro and other cheese or really broken stuff).
As a person paying a monthly fee, I’d rather have them come out and say anything than this BS silence. I am not accepting this ‘‘next expac’’ argument anymore. Neither should any of us here.
