So yeah, season 6 is ending on May 30th. The next one is said to start in the week of June 22nd. So what the hell are people supposed to do for 3 weeks? Any reason to log in?
I certainly will have a reason to log in, but my reason would not help you at all. You should direct this question towards yourself only, since itās a personal issue.

If you play wow for only arena, then no, no reason for to log in three weeks. But you play Wow for other, is no problem. I think you-problem here.
This is a middle finger to PvP enjoyers, Iāve no idea what they were thinking.
The only reason for this that I can see is that they decided about the end of the PvP season way before they knew what the state of PTR was. So they announced the may 30th season end, then released the PTR, realised that they have a ton of bugs to fix, and so delayed the release of ToC. And, for some reason, they insist on releasing s7 with ToC, so the season gets delayed with it.
But Blizzard: itās not too late to change that. You can both delay the end of s6 and bring the release of s7 forward, without ToC gear. 3 weeks of arena offseason is ridiculous. Iām paying for the game as a PvP player, and Iām about to lose my reason to play for close to a month. May cancel the sub for that month, not worth it for 1 weekās worth of arena.

I paid subscription to be able to play pvp as itās the only reason I play this game. Raiding? May be fun for the first 2-3 times - after that itās a chore (cba to state the reasons Iām sort of forced to do it - not relevant). Horutosepe shares my point of view and elaborated more on the topic.
And to the smartass from the post about existential crisis. No, itās not a problem not to play the game for 3 weeks. But Iād like a refund in that case. Do you comprehend?

Is totally what I say. If you play only to PvP you better not subscribe next month except you want level alts with JJ.
I play not PvP not Dungeons. I play WoW to level

If you āpaid subscription to play pvpā then you can still play other forms of pvp that are not arena.
This is the equivalent of not letting people enter raid instances and just telling them to play dungeons instead. Yes, both raids and dungeons are PvE, just like both BGs and arenas are PvP. However, there is a big difference between consuming the ācasualā content (BGs and dungeons) vs the āhardā content (raids and arenas).
Iām guessing if they barred the doors of ulduar for 3 weeks before TOC is released, your tune would change real quick. And I would NOT tell you to just play dungeons instead, because I realize that the casual endgame content is not fulfilling on its own for most people.
You cannot enter TotGC or ICC right now. You can enter other forms of PvE content. I donāt see anyone complaining about it.

After the end of season 6, and before the beginning of season 7, you cannot play rated arenas. If you go up to a battlemaster, the button for rated arenas is greyed out. As if Ulduar and Naxx were unavailable for 3 weeks before the release of ToC. I imagine we would have quite a few people complaining about that.

Iām fine, thanks. Perhaps one will have learnt, after so many arena seasons on retail and classic, that normally there are off seasons, during which rated arena is unavailable. Perhaps next season one would take this into account before getting upset about oneās paid time being affected by the off season
