give us the opportunity to farm honor in the non-rated arena!
2vs2 only for dps, 3vs3 only for 1x heal + 2x dps. (like a retail, since MoP, WoD?)
skirmish = honor, rated = conquest.
why its problem?

I think the people who care about arena know that nothing will happen, just like we prolly wont get a “new” mmr inflation, no solo q, no dampening and no fixed dalaran arena (who doesnt enjoy falling through the ground into space every 2nd fear?). No skirmish (because it was like that 15years ago so why change it even though its terrible) would perfectly fit into that…

I’ll throw in my vote here as well. I very much would like to see skirmish being implemented. Regarding skirmish rewarding honor I’m not sure - skirmish, to me, was a means to practice and spend my time doing what I think is the most fun in the game.

I was looking into coming back to play cata pvp since MoP was my fav and cata wasn’t bad either but I’m on the fence. I’d love to see at least either skrims or soloq added. I don’t have as much time as I used to and I don’t want to spend hours looking for a good team I just want to log on and play. Which is also why leveling to 85 is going to be a huge pain in the butt. PvP really is getting gatekept and should be a standalone thing anyway imo.

In Wotlk you could quickly (sub 1 min.) find arena skirmishes even at 2-3 AM. Probably the most played non-reward pvp event, outdoing conventional ranked.
Getting it reintroduced will definitely contribute in a positive way to the scene.

I can tell for certain why almost no AddOn “inventions” were made during original Cata/MoP - because there were no Skirmishes for anyone to test and debug anything.
Bring back Skirmishes. As an addon/WA author I literally can’t maintain my creations without it.
