Tried leveling there to unlock void elves. You get no items whatsoever, you get no weapons, you can’t fly. Enemies become stronger every level and you get nothing to fight those enemies. Your ilevel stays the same throughout argus so after a few levels it becomes impossible.
Another case of broken scaling to add to the list.
its a mess. legion is in general a mess.
for mounts with my pally i need to go to suramar to buy win ebut since im not honored i cant. and i finished the entire questline with 5 chars.
In order to go to argus you need to unlock it doin some quest khadgar give you. i cant recall the name but i guess some reddit or wowhead comment could be useful.
First of all, why would you level there, it was an end game zone, you went there at max level. Second, of course you don’t get weapon, only weapon is legion was the artifact weapon.
You want to unlock the void elves, just take a max level character there, zoom the main quest, nuke everything.
No trial accounts don’t require a sub. Unless you can’t post on the forums with trial accounts. Anyway, I was just interested because it would be a workaround for my weirdo brain to do a separate account and do everything again without actually wasting any money
The reason could be to “kill two flies with one hit”. In other words, you would both gain xp while progressing on the quests, thus once you reach max level you have less stuff to do. That is if you decide to finish it on that one character of course.
That’s probably just a low level character for the forums. Like this one of mine.
Anyway, I still have to unlock Void Elves because I’m not really an elf fan and because I hate that place so much. Even without reputation grind I just can’t.
Because Argus is a max level area it was not meant for leveling. If you want to access nonstandard leveling get heirlooms, otherwise stick to leveling zones and dungeons.
I wonder if it’s something to do with the farming there? I noticed before the new expansion came out bots were farming the first area when you first get off the ship - the mobs were dropping too much gold.
