I’ve done a raid yday with the “new” Arms warrior and it feels like absolute lame-o playstyle if it didn’t have Condemn…
Why is 50-60% off my damage Condemn, it really feels bad when pressing Condemn gives you hits around the 70-80k area, but stacking 2 Overpowers into a Mortal Strike barely does 20-25k damage…
I was doing these MS numbers in SL aswell…
The only cool thing about it is you are actually pressing Condemn and it is usuable more then Execute.
Afaik you can’t enable Condemn in the talent tree right? This playstyle would be super super boring with plain old Execute.
Right now I had to go FULL ST damage build to enable this dmg profile, I only had Overpower to do a slight little bit off AOE cleave damage.
I was planning to get Sweeping Strikes and Bladestorm but ran out of points, can’t wait for DF so I can choose these to ensure I have a little bit off AOE!
All in all, Arms warrior right now does good damage (if execute phases are long enough), is extremely easy to play and 50-60% off your damage profile is Condemn.
Arms Warrior was absolutely bland and awful without Condemn in Shadowlands too, Blizzard dropped the ball with Arms design after Legion. Legion Arms design for TOS was extremely good, and I even really liked the less popular super high APM Focused Rage design for early Legion.
But it’s been meh in BFA and even worse in Shadowlands unless you had Condemn, and Condemn only really felt good because it give you big openers, it was just disguising the underlying awful design direction the spec has taken.
arms feels insanely bad in both pvp and pve xD I dont wanna play fury again, i hoped df would revamp arms but it seems to be pretty much the same with worse dmg and more self-healing. i also hate the fact that talents now basically took some of basic abilities and put them in talent tree to create an illusion of choice . at this point wrath has better design

I never was a big fan off Condemn though, but it made the most sense, together with necro banner, in the warrior theme.
NF and Kyr abilities felt like we were some weird mage combo at times
I feel you on this one…
I will be found on FFXIV sadly…
Arms is in complete shreds and I will never like how Fury plays…
