Arthas my son

Kinda rendered my spoiler moot but anyway I SEE NOW and thus the reason for the thing that happens yeeeez… I want to join the Mawsworn tbh, Kyrians be dumb.

And after that it was always hinted that a shred of Arthas remained. Because its really simple. If there was no Arthas left the undead would have without doubt consumed Azaroth.

Something was keeping the undead scourge in Northrend…
Even in the lore they point out the undead at any time could stomp over Azaroth.

But i do not want to get into a heated debate over made up lore. The new expansion would either redeem Arthas or condemn him.

Uther certainly suspected it and even if that was true it is certainly something that Arthas did his best to destroy.

The dude literally tore out his own heart to rid himself of any mortal weaknesses.

I am telling u that the only reason u see this trailer is because it will be a redemption arc for Arthas ( like Illidan) and the reason why the “bastion” got corrupt.

Because Arthas did not deserve his fate.
But i really do not want to get into a heated debate about something time will point out to us very soon.

The absolute state of this company if they redeem Arthas.

I have a hard time thinking of someone less worthy of redemption than that bastard.

I would say he didn’t actually ascended ,he just got wings from crazy angel for nothing.

If only Uther was there all the way to guide him.

I am sorry if you really feel this bad about Arthas not being the bad guy.

We called it about Illidan and Arthas for a long time. What u think about Arthas what made him a baddy most think is what made him “good”, not the killing part but doing the really hard thing of offering your own soul and conscience to prevent more deaths and keeping humans from turning into the undead.

A good argument for Arthas being in revendreth and not the maw is probably because no mortal should have the maws power. So who knows how that weighs when it comes to being judged.

What u say highlights in Uthers soul being split and the Blue smurfin saying : Its like he does not belong here.

Kinda what happened to Varian Wrynn???

It’s not a matter of opinion as far as the story is concerned. He was a bad guy and is recognized as such both on a meta level and in the universe itself.

I know that Blizzard are serial liars at this point but I’m going to hope against hope that they stick to their word that we won’t see much of Arthas in this expansion.

The maw is for unreddemable souls on the level of Guldan.
Arthas before getting controlled by Frostmourne was Between Revendreth and ironically bastion.

My dude you are taking a made up story way to personal. And tbh its pointed out since day 1 that Arthas like Illidan was not a bad guy if you could only see past his actions and why.

Like its there that both of them are not bad people but often out of emotional reason refuse to accept it… But in my honest opinion its amazing story writing to make a good guy look like a bad guy and that lots of people buy into it.

Like if the story goes for or against Arthas it does not get me to the point you are at.

I am sorry for u that you feel this way but no joke its pointed out again and again that he is not the baddie.

You are objectively and factually wrong.

Isnt there a “,” between “Arthas” and “my son”?

Never knew people where so obsessed with Arthas being a baddy holy moly… What did i get my self into.

90 % of our population says otherwise Traitor

I dont know who Arthas is but the title is really bugging me. I think there should be a “,” - “Arthas, my son…”

You would be thrown into the maw if they had the chance.

This is what makes Uther your hero and Arthas mine.

Uther was the kind of hero that did the good that was seen as good by many.
Arthas did the good that would destroy ones own soul in the proces to save many others.

It genuinely gave my the goosebumps, in a good way. HO-LY :scream:
